Whether you’re exploring Vermont’s covered bridges, visiting Quechee Gorge or skiing at Killington, you’ll find Vermont to be picture-perfect. If you’re the outdoorsy type, you’ll love Vermont. In winter, of course, there’s plenty of skiing and snowboarding. In the warmer months, however, Vermont offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and boating. If you enjoy boating, swimming and fishing, a vacation rental on Lake Champlain might be perfect for you.

I have no expectations going to a movie theater, in fact I never expect much, hoping I dont get candy stuck to the bottom of my shoe. However we were blown away by our first visit to the most absolutley wonderful theater EVER! We live locally but have been to the movies only once up in Lebanon which was gross, the theater was dirty and the staff was a hot mess. Anyway, coming from NY, I had no expectations except to see the movie. This theater was a gem, a perfect gem of everything you could hope for. Visually once you step inside its like stepping into another era of a time gone by. There is movie memorabilia everywhere which is fun, exciting and unexpected. The staff is the nicest group of people we have encountered ever, their customer service was so friendly, engaging and appreciated. The theater was in top form, spotless, I could not believe how clean it was, and I have to mention the bathroom, actually. It was cleaner than bathrooms I have been to at peoples homes, seriously. The theater has three different screens, ours was a quaint one, but with the speakers you would have thought you were in a huge arena, it was great. Even the promos before the movie had a personal touch. I can't stress enough, this is a theater is like no other. There is attention to detail everywhere you look. You can tell by the owner and or manager, they care about their customers to have the very best cinematic experience ever and we sure did! Thank you, can't wait to go back and check out another movie and see the rest of the movie memorabilia..

My wife and I love visiting small local movie theaters when away on vacation. We were pleasantly surprised that the theater accepted Moviepass and enjoyed seeing Ladybird here. The theater itself was clean and the staff were courteous. Highly recommend stopping by if you are tired from shopping all day!

I went to the movies recently with 2 grandsons - one on crutches. The owner (I’m assuming) helped get the boys to seats while I purchased popcorn, etc. (terrific prices.). The theater was clean and comfortable. Girls at refreshments were friendly and respectful. Wonderful little well-maintained historical venue in little Morrisville. Kudos!

For those of us who rarely get much pleasure going to the Hollywood action movies that are all the thing these days, having an independent movie theatere in a small town is a major blessing. I recently was perusing a book called "Not Coming to a Movie Theatre Near You" that was lamenting the fact that so many good movies never make it to the movie theatres. Almost all the movies listed in the book had showed at the Savoy, and I had seen and enjoyed many of them. The Savoy also hosts the annual Green Mountain Film Festival every early Spring and I get to see dozens of documentaries, foreign films and even some films made locally here in Vermont. I learn so much and get so much pleasure during those dark days of "stick season"
