Liverpool's fortunes have historically been tied to shipping. But imports and exports like sugar, spice and tobacco pale in comparison with Liverpool's most famous export of all—the Beatles. Relive the hysteria at the Beatles Story Experience, and check out Paul's childhood home, but also leave time for exploring Liverpool Cathedral and the Walker Art Gallery.

Woolton Picture House is a truly unique cinema, located in the heart of picturesque Woolton Village, Liverpool since 1927.This enchanting cinema embraces the breathtaking period features that surround, with a traditional art deco auditorium. The amazing single screen picture house hosts 256 classic pullman armchairs offering a exclusive, original experience. In a comfortable and cosy environment, that allows you to unwind and immerse yourself into your favorite film.
Oldest cinema in Liverpool but you wouldnt think it. Lovely staff nice little shop and when you enter the cinema it is such a surprise. It is bigger than I imagined and the seating is really superb, I thought it might be old fashioned seating but most definitely it isnt. They are very comfortable modern seats with a HUGE distance to the ones in front. No need to stand when people pass - really excellent. The whole experience is brilliant and loved it. The film and sound quality were of a high standard also.

Nestled just off Bold Street this could be a million miles from the chain cinema's like Odeon. What a neat and great discovery the Picture House is. With its stunning interior (ground floor Garden Cafe and Art Galleries that continue on the 1st Floor ..... here you will find a large Bar for drinks and coffee ..... then on to the upper floor with 3 cinema screens ...... auditorium seating and real comfy). We went to see Mrs Lowry and Son ...... because the mainstream movie palaces simply won't entertain these great Indie movies ... so well done Picture House and so worth that couple of quid extra .... or do the Meerkat BOGOF on Tues / Weds like we did.

Went to see the Adams family and it was an excellent experience, this was my first time and I can not wait to go again, really well organized staff amazing and the food was great value we took our own as we thought we would be ripped off like the normal cinema however not so normal supermarket prices. Fantastic experience for kids who can even sit outside on chairs or picnic rug and enjoy the show.
