We had been in a dust storm the day before in Golmud and there was very much dust left in the atmosphere so you could only see a couple of hundred meters so we missed it on the way up, but on the way down in the morning what a sight to see all the animals and the morning sun gleaming on the ice capped mountains a sight I will never forget.

I personally love the “grassland scenery” so very much. The first time here was in 2015 where gives me a really good memory of being on holiday in Qilian Mountain and grassland. It is also known as one of the famous six prairies in China. We took a self drive crossed QiLian Mountain this time, I am delighted to see the view, air and everything freshly with hope and joy. We saw deep mountain gorges, glacier topped mountains, Tibetan temples, rare fishes, grasslands, wild flowers, rivers and lakes cross the mountain. Definitely lovely cattle, herds of sheep, yaks, and goats like white pearls drop from the sky, buzzard fly freely in the sky occasionally. When the sun goes down, sleeping yak, yurt, river, chimney, creek and herder all these wild scenery constitute of a “fantastic Grassland Painting”, a scenery of poem.
