Very clean rooms, excellent full service breakfast and extremely friendly staff. Really affordable rates for Chicago’s city center. Last, but not least, FREE parking for the length of your stay with only a minimal charge for extra hours. Great experience for us.

Booked a two night stay, ended up checking out after one night. Beds were uncomfortable, poor quality. Shower was leaky.
Reviewed By bahc20152022Upon entering the room, right away the odor hit me in the face. Beds were uncomfortable and couldn't get any rest because kids were running up and down the stairs, very noisy. The bathroom shower was leaking. The bed linens were stained and wrinkled.

Wonderful Stay
Reviewed By FlynbabeMy partner and I had occasion to stay at this Best Western on a whim after staying too late visiting family in the area. I called the hotel at 10:30 pm to ask about rooms. The lady was very helpful and pleasant. When we arrived a few minutes later I was greeted warmly by the desk clerk. Check in was fast. We passed a nice indoor pool on the way to our room. The room was very clean, smelled good and had great mattresses. Sheets were soft and comfy. The towels were substantial and lighting in the bathroom was the best I've seen in a hotel in quite some time. The breakfast was very good, including biscuits and gravy, omelets, sausage waffles, a variety of cereals as well as yogurt, fruit cups, fresh fruit, coffee, milk, and juices. The attendant was very friendly and accommodating. She made sure we had enough biscuits as they were running low toward the end of breakfast time. The bill is out under the door, and checkout was easy, just drop keys in box when leaving. We will definitely stay there again!

Beds are great, we found our room to be very clean and well supplied with enough towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast doesn’t have lots of options available but had fruit, yogurt, granola bars, waffles, sandwiches and wraps.

The Quincy Microtel is located on the Mississippi River with the best view of the river and the Quincy bridges. Great hospitality and service were our guest become our family. We offer continental breakfast in the mornings and have one of the largest heated indoor pool in the city.
Stole our stuff
Reviewed By 872IanI can't accuse the staff at this hotel of stealing, because I have no proof. I do however have a mountain of circumstantial evidence. There was a bag of items left in the room. 27 minutes after checkout we called the hotel and were back at the hotel inside 45 minutes. The room had already been stripped down by the time we got back. The staff managed to find one thing that had 0 value, while somehow managing to not find the 8-10 other items that were in the same bag. Very strange. They tried to tell us anyone walking by could have taken it, but as we left at checkout time, and there were several cleaning personnel and no guests that I could see, I know who my money is on as the thief. Also, as I was leaving after making my complaint, a staff member came out of the elevator with a black plastic bag and announced "Merry Christmas!" And I'm to believe that they didn't help themselves to our stuff? But as I said, I have no proof so the staff of this hotel got me this time. All I can do now is make a point to never stay at a Microtel again, and to make sure that anyone I talk to about the subject, also knows this story.

Reviewed By catmccabe2022I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and I will never stay there again after they've gotten New Management because they had the hotel at like 50° and the window did not lock and there was hair all over the place and the sheets did not look like they had been changed there was marks on them and also there was dirt all over the floor they didn't even vacuum.

Reviewed By 581safaahVary expensive and smelly! also the bed and the sheets are not clean and they were too late on checking in for one of the room , i could not even spend the time inside the room, i just slept 5 hours and i could not believed it was done that night. the priced that i payed i could've get a way better choices but all hotels were booked. Please dont waste your money in this place! it is disgusting.
