Reviewed By Pratik DRooms and bathrooms are neat, clean and spacious. Restaurant at this place is very good food is just amazing. Costumer service is also very good. Budget vise this hotel is not worth it. Location is also not too great.

Back when Ryanair was still operating flights in and out of this city, we stayed here for one night to catch an early bus the next morning after a late flight. We arrived quite late at night and found no one at the front desk. However, we saw the keys all laid out on the table. So we were kinda guessing that if it was too late into the night, the guests were supposed to just take the keys and go ahead into their rooms. But we were not sure so we ended up calling the staff anyway. It was an okay stay, good enough for a shower and a few hours of sleep.

Reviewed By LanaYYCQuiet motel, simple decor. Size of room was about 17 square meters. I am not giving this review 5 stars because you have to use common bathrooms. The bar area is very rustic. Motel is about 1 km away from the city centre (central park) , and approximately 1.5 km to the beach.

Really good for the price
Reviewed By Ale SWe went to Jämsa for first time last August because Nightwish and other great bands were playing there and we thought it'd epic to go to that festival at Himos. We weren't wrong about it! We totally loved the experience ♡ the only thing in Jämsa or well the only complicated thing in Himos (to be more specific) is that if you don't rent a car you are in trouble, taxi rates are quite high there and if you want to get the keys of your room you got to go to the main reception at Himos park and believe me you can't just walk there. We had to do it cause when we tried to return home from the concert that night there were no buses or taxis available for the thousands of people that went there so we had to take the risk and walk in the dark from the concert venue to Motel Patalahti and I swear it took forever. So next time, we will rent a car hahaha the good thing is the hotel has a 24h gas station with a restaurant inside where you can buy food or whatever you need and you can also call taxis from there. People are really fiendly and helpful ♡ we loved the experience and we will go back for sure!

Even If it was by chance that I ended up sleeping there, I would definately choose it again, as it was simply charming! This building. originally a school, had an over 50 year history as a motel (the last two with present entrepreneurs). It showed in a positive way, my room had lost nothing in its recent refurbisment: it was adorable and I totally enjoyed watching TV in a rocking chair. I had preordered risotto and pike perch as dinner: very handy - and delicious. The breakfast with slow cooked porridge, traditional home made bread and eggs of your choise was also one of the very best in Finland. The couple who now owns and runs the motel are very friendly indeed!

Reviewed By KRAJEWSKI KWe were 3 in the room, and there was enough place for everyone and our hiking stuff. Ruka is really not far and there is a market next to the Motel. In the room, everything clean, and everything to rest and make food. The owner was really cool: we were sitting outside our room doing nothing, the owner saw us and asked us if we would like to join him for rafting. I found it really kind from him and it shows that the owner pays attention to you. Don't hesistate to go there, especially after the Karhunkierros.

Reviewed By EK2118Lounastimme tässä hienossa rantaravintolassa. Lounasaikaan ala-carte oli pois pelistä, mutta lounaspöytä (10€) oli maittava ja kattava. Lounaan kruunasi hintaan kuuluvat jäätelöpuikot ja keinuminen laiturilla. Vahva Suositus!

During your stay, you can could eat well, enjoy cup of coffee with homemade bakery products and if needed you can stay for a night in our cozy motel. There is also a dog park for a quick stops in which your pets can take a break also.

Reviewed By Petrij2Suuri huone, jossa ilmastointi ja oma sauna (Superior). Ystävällinen palvelu ja hyvä ravintola. Rauhallinen majoitus vaikka lähellä palveluita vilkkaita väyliä. Pyytämällä huoneen alapuolelta saatte todennäköisesti tavallistakin rauhallisemmat unet. Petauspatjat voisivat olla hieman paksummat.

Olsin tuulettanut,ellei ikkuna olisi turvonnut kiinni.. Wc:n laatoitukseen ei silloin 60-luvulla oltu liiemmin panostettu, milloin laatoitus ilmeisesti tehty! Laatoittajan ammattitaito kisällin tasoa,tai vähintäänkin ollut melkoinen krapula! Tuli siis käytyä kaksi kertaa! Ensinmäisen ja viimeisen..
