Beware of threatening front desk staff
Reviewed By katie lWe used this hotel for a crew that stayed for almost a month. During their stay we had multiple issues with the front desk. The hotel itself is ok, not bad, not good per my foreman. One of the issues we had was with the general manager, around 4pm on a Friday she decided that she was going to kick some of our rooms out despite them being extended. When we told her there must of been a mix up, she threatened to call the cops and starting using profanity towards my guys. It ended up being a mistake on her part but caused a lot of drama and not once apologized to my guys. I cant believe someone like that has made it to a manager position.

Kicked out of my room because I got Diarrhea and my dogs got away
Reviewed By 669keishanI had the worst experience of my life at this hotel, I have cancer and stayed here like I have numerous times. I had to rush to the bathroom and did not close the door all the way and my dogs ran out of the room. The maid then came knocking at the door and asked if they were my dogs and I said yes and will get them in a minute that I was in the bathroom. I had to clean myself before I could get them but the maid then came banging on my door and yelled at me to get my dogs. The manager then came and did not care what happened to me and they kicked me out of my room. I called the police cause they would not give me my money back. Stay away from this hotel they could care less about good customers. I have stayed here weeks at a time and this is how they treated me when I was in a pickle.

Reviewed By soutyrStaying here for a week was good some days but there’s a manager that works there do not give good customer service attitude it’s not right I pay every day for me and my family to stay we are currently homeless and do not need that type of people to be giving me a hard time. Z walls you can hear other people in the room the manager that’s working today does not need to be working if she don’t have people skills! Good luck to all!!

Reviewed By TheOriginalDonaldI stayed at Studio 6 Northwest Dallas September 30-October 4, 2018. As I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations I figured it would be a no-frills hotel. Good 1.For a hotel near a major highway the room was surprisingly quiet. 2. The staff was professional and friendly. When I checked in they gave a slight discount on my bill because.... Bad 1. No TV. This was a rarity to me, and to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't have missed it except for... 2. NO free Wi-Fi. That tended to annoy me as I found there wasn't much coverage in the Dallas area, which I found surprising 3. NO nearby drug stores/supermarkets. There are a few convenience store nearby, but no CVS or Walgreens. No Krogers/HEB either so you'd have to eat at the IHOP or Waffle House nearby. The Ugly 1. Utensils. If your suite has a kitchenette you'd expect a LOT more than just butter knife (with the exception of ONE steak knife) 2. Bathroom fixtures. The showerhead was cracked, and the bathroom sink leaked with every use. I would say if you have a car this would be a nice place to say, but I have to give it a slight thumbs down this time around.

Reviewed By Arika_R_209Traveling through Dallas with my husband and I but we stop for a few hours to rest. We got in at 3:15 am wanted to leave by 9. First things first, all the light switches had different colored smudges of who knows what. The floors at a bunch a little things on it telling me they didn’t sweep before the next people. We went to the beds: sheets had ALL types of hair (if you catch my drift) and stains on them (which you could smell), pillowcases also had mysterious stains and did not smell clean, the only good part were the sheets and blanket. When we woke up to shower, the towels had the same kind of hair on them with different colors as well. This place was not taken care of and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone ESPECIALLY families.

The BBB AND EVERYONE we can think of to get this rat hole shut down. Dirty towels in room. Mold smell. Ac doesn't work. Ask for owner's info and Joyce refused to provide it. Ask for management and was told to call the number on the website that NOBODY answered.

Reviewed By Joe CAt first it seemed ok for the money although we had a slightly miserable welcome. Heard horrible noises through the wall at gone midnight. On our day of checking out the manager knocked our door at 9.45am and asked "you stay or go?". Checkout time is 11am and we wanted to rest until closer to that time as we had our bags packed. He then did the same at 10.30 and 10.45. Reading reviews this is always done at this hotel although I have never experienced something so rude at a hotel before. Given that other people have made this complaint you would think they would stop this practice. Clearly run by complete morons.

Didn’t feel safe
Reviewed By 570desireerWorried more on my dogs paper than making sure their hotel was clean and safe. Charge $65 for an night with the blankets and window curtains was both destroyed. The phone cord was ripped out of the wall. The bathroom light was colored with an marker. Being an nonsmoking room with an ashtray. I would of taken pictures but I wanted to get out of their fast. I had paid this prices before and they were very safe and clean. This is very disappointing that they still in business and letting this fly.

Had refrigerator, access to wifi, standard coffee service (extra coffee packets received from front desk after check-in). Had no issues interacting with staff; franchise could use a standard of dress. Identified two issues: running toilet and low pressure/leaky shower head. I advised desk at check-out without issue. Other than that, nice place to power down.
