U.S. citizens still need to jump through a few hoops to visit Cuba, but as visitors from around the world know, the island offers fascinating opportunities for cultural exchange... and some simply amazing beaches. Havana is a balance of old-world architecture and contemporary nightlife. The UNESCO World Heritage town of Trinidad is a vision of Spanish colonial architecture and makes a great base for a visit to the hauntingly beautiful Valley of the Sugar Mills.

Hostal Casita, is a private colonial house, located in a quiet area of Santa Clara, a city rich in its traditions, that recalls its culture and history, preserves the traces of time and stands out for a security without limits, it is the call CIUDAD DEL CHE GUEVARA, 300 meters from Hostal Casita you can find the Armored Train live demonstration derailment led by Commander Guevara to fight the Battle of Santa Clara and 15 minutes walking the hill of Capiro where he installed his command and led the Battle ; also the most important, the Mausoleum where his remains rest and that of his companions fallen in Bolivia and who were rescued in 1998 from the common grave where they lay in the Bolivian city of La Paz. Near this lodging the visitor will find the Vidal Park, and around it Museums, Banks and Theaters, while at 100 meters there is the Boulevard and its trade networks.
Wonderful owners. They are a very kind conservative family with the purpose of making you feel like you belong. Very discreet and caring. Santica would always make these delicious smoothies and juices. Her cuisine is out of this world! The home itself has one of the most beautiful views in this city with a direct sight to the 1700s Iglesia de Buen Viaje. I would highly recommend their hostal to anyone who wants to truly grasp the full “Santa Clara” experience

Colonial house built in the first half of 1800, with a total area of 519 meters, 14 meters wide and 36 meters long, located on Calle Antonio Maceo (Gutierrez) # 519 between Santiago Escobar (Olvido) and Piro Guinart ). Trinity. Sancti Spiritus. Cuba. It has two rooms for guests, both with two beds of colonial style, air-conditioned, and perfectly ventilated with hot and cold water service 24h. The colonial architecture with its high roofs and the use of inner patios next to the vegetation, allows to maintain a totally cool temperature in the interior and exterior of the house. In addition you can enjoy breakfast, pleasant drinks and dinner prepared with pleasure, under a pleasant lighting at night in the garden of the house. It has excellent views from the terrace where colonial roofs and charms of a city of 500 years make a photograph immortalize the memories of a trip, garage service and the pleasant company of its hosts Beatriz Saavedra and Dr. Jaime Pérez.
Well, a nice old couple that was recommended to us so we didn't ask the price at the begenning. It turns out it was very expensive for the prestation we were charged 35 € per persons, when many charge per rooms with eventually a supplement for extra persons. Ask the price first.. There were brighter rooms for less money just across the street.

Muchas gracias !!

I had a wonderful time! A great family, the food was delicious, and Manuel showed me the many beautiful things in Viñales. I swam in a river, explored the Cueva del Indio, and enjoyed the rich night life. My room was clean and I felt like I was staying with family.

It is located on the first floor overlooking the sea, it has a double bed, air conditioning, fan, rechargeable lamp, safe and mini bar.
Shaza y Samy

the house itself is cool and tastefully decorated. every room is ensuite. very high quality bed linens and the mattress is comfortable. yet, the air condition of the biggest bedroom is smelly, it feels like the air condition hadn't been washed for many years. staffs are helpful , but a kind reminder, you better ask for the price on each item before you consume, like a tea bag, ended up they charged US$1.5 each. if you booked from booking.com, be reminded if you want to use the washing machine, you can't use it on your own. you have to pay for a laundry fee, but it doesn't mention it has a surcharge. Booking.com also mentioning the WI FI is free of charge, so, if you asked for the WIFI card from the staffs, it should be free of charge. but I don't know how many hours you are allowed to use the WIFI. about location, as we planned to stay half of our trip in vedado and half in Havana , so it's not a problem for us. if your plan focus on old Havana or Centro Havana, it will be quite far away , say you have to take 10CUC at least out and back everyday. If your sightseeing spots mainly in Vedado, then it isn't a problem. the photos of this house you saw from booking.com are almost same as what you are going to get.
