Pittsburgh has been remade and reimagined. Think 24 miles of riverfront trails, beautiful parks and historic attractions. Home to 90 neighborhoods, the ‘Burgh feels authentic and unpretentious. No visit is complete without a trip to the Strip District or PNC Park, a ride up the Duquesne Incline or a stop at The Andy Warhol Museum. Architecture buffs love Pittsburgh for the amazing downtown buildings. Hollywood producers, do, too—the city has even been called the “Hollywood of the East."

Located next to the Mr. Rogers statue. You should take the time to read the wall. It tells a sobering story. We were touched by this tribute. I hope you will be too.

I stopped by this Memorial as I was passing by after checking out the Mr. Rogers sculpture nearby and I'm glad I did. It's a great blend of the big history of the war tied in with the strong role Pittsburgh played in the effort along with personal stories of locals who fought in various aspects of the war, including the significant role women and black soldiers played. Well worth 5-10 minutes of your time to be reminded of the hard road Our ancestors paved to get here.

A lovely tribute to Mr Rogers. The site lines are beautiful and thoughtful as he looks back on the city. Worth a stop.
