The last two trips to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area, we have taken 441 from Cherokee into Gatlinburg. The drive is scenic and beautiful and the overlooks are breathtaking. I snapped a couple photos Sunday on the way back from Gatlinburg of the Mortons Overlook and the tunnel close to the overlook. If you have the opportunity to take this scenic drive do it, you will not regret it

Whether for the usual attractions or exploring this beautiful mountain, it is worth the short trip from Chattanooga. You can ride the incline to the top or drive to see the beautiful historic homes, famous Rock City with Lovers Leap, Point Park, Ruby Falls or explore nature at Lula Lake Falls or watch the Hang-gliders jump from the cliffs and soar over the valleys. Great day trip!

Great view definitely worth doing!! Largest suspension bridge in America so I was told!! Talk about a thrill this is it my first time on a skylight and you can ride all day the bridge is the highlight of it all great pictures and if you lucky you may spot a bear!!

The Gatlinburg Overlook is located on the Gatlinburg Bypass which runs between the Gatlinburg Spur and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Gatlinburg Spur runs between Pigeon Forge TN and Gatlinburg. The Bypass is accessible from the Spur or from the National Park. There are four parking areas on the Bypass. You can exit your vehicle and take in the views. We recommend the 2nd and 3rd parking areas. From the overlooks, you will see the entire town of Gatlinburg with its majestic mountain backdrop.

Beautiful by night or day you can see spectacular views of the city! Tucked just outside the gates of Great Smoky National Park Gatlinburg is a fun mountain town with house all the way up the mountains with amazing views.

Short easy walk to this amazing overlook. Just google mapped, but no real signs, just look for the gray A-frame (old and not in use). Walk right beside and then keep walking the path. Stay away from the edge, though! Don't miss this very cool place!

This is a must see! The hike is short but uphill I’m not in the best of shape, so I had to stop but I made it. Once there, the views were amazing. I had more fun exploring all of the rock formations. Go past the tower path and these boulders come up from everywhere. I called it natures lego land. Bring a picnic and your Eno or tree hammock. Our mistake because we didn’t know. Playing around all the boulders was a lot off fun. Then a pleasant walk back down.

Great hike! Great views!! We hiked out of Craven's House, definitely gets your blood pumping and a little sweat going. Put this one on your hike list when you are in Chattanooga!
