Beautiful place overlooking the Quilotoa Lake. Its a 10 min hike to the "mirador"; which is a beautiful wooden platform. From there you can hike down to the lake.

"Balcon de Quito Mirador", located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of our city, in Loma de San Juan or Huanacauri, located a few steps from the Historic Center, the Basilica of the National Vote, in front of the Monastery of the Mothers Agustina; a privileged position that allows to have a great view and from our panoramic window admire the majesty, beauty and architecture of its churches

The tree house is a beautiful place that is located in Baños city. The tree house is a beautiful place that is located in Baños city, in the Santa Rosa community, on a small hill, this a place has a largest swing in the world visited by several foreign tourist. This is a small, incredible, fabulous, beautiful wooden house on a giant tree. This is a viewpoint that allows adventurers to enjoy unforgettable, incredible views of the crater, streams and behavior of the Tungurahua volcano and must reach The Tree House by a semicircular trail during the tour you can observe flora and fauna characteristic of the Ecuadorian highlands. On the other hand, in the house of the tree we find a swing that exceeds 7 meters in height in its largest branch. The audacious tourists who dare to climb and swing on the rock enjoy a unique and amazing experience every time they swing over the deep ravine. I recommend this place because it is a beautiful viewpoint where you can enjoy a unique view of the beautiful landscape of Baños, where you can take several pictures of this famous place. You can also have an unforgettable experience if you decide to go up to the house or to the swing.

Tres Cruces is located in El Cajas National Park - right off the main road between Guayaquil and Cuenca. If you are driving from Cuenca, look for the "Tres Cruces" sign which directs you to a parking lot on the right side of the road - about 1 hour drive from Cuenca. After you park, you must cross the highway, and proceed to the right along the road for a bit. You may see people trying to scramble up the hill directly across the street from the parking lot. This is not necessary - simply walk up hill along the road for a bit and you will find a wooden stairway. This is your first - of several - stairways which take you to the mirador - or lookout - at the top. Once you reach the top, you will be at an altitude of 13,651 feet! So take it slow. And take water with you. I would estimate that you will climb about 1,000 feet on these stairways. Afterwards, if you are hungry, take the road back towards Cuenca and treat yourself to an excellent lunch at the restaurant at the Dos Chorreras Lodge.
