When you think “adventure travel” you probably think of far-flung places like Belize and Alaska—not Wisconsin. But if you’re an outdoor adventurer, you’ll find plenty of places to explore in Wisconsin. A vacation in Wisconsin can put you close to the Kettle Moraine State Forest, which has excellent biking trails. Or choose Wisconsin’s Apostle Islands—kayakers will love exploring Lake Superior’s many caves and shipwrecks. Packers fans don’t wear those cheese-wedge hats for nothing! Foodies will love tasting as many of Wisconsin’s artisanal cheeses as possible. Either drive from cheesemaker to cheesemaker, or choose a Wisconsin vacation in a town with a good farmers’ market—then the cheesemakers bring their wares to you. And what goes better with artisanal cheese than craft beer? In Milwaukee, visit the Lakefront and Sprecher Breweries for tours and tastings.
Wisconsin Dells is a classic family vacation destination. A vacation in Wisconsin Dells will put you close to all the excitement—you’ll have to tear the kids away from the theme parks, wave pools and water parks in Wisconsin Dells! Lake Geneva boasts clean beaches, golf, and a small-town feel that definitely appeals to city dwellers—it’s a popular getaway for residents of Chicago.

Experience a uniquely intimate waterfront resort that includes 300ft. private beach, 5-miles of nature trails, heated pool and hot tub, fitness center, tennis, fishing, kayaking, internet and buffet breakfast. Enjoy an award-winning menu and cocktails on property at Top Deck Restaurant. Select lodge rooms and cottages with water views, suites adjacent to a pristine forest, and coming soon a 5-bedroom house gracing the shores of Lake Michigan. Gordon House Event Center, an elegant venue for weddings and special events, seats up to 250 guests. Witness incredible starry nights and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets as you enjoy tranquility and beauty matched nowhere else in Door County.
This place is amazing the location the rooms the staff; very very special. The restaurant however just contract it out to a private company and they take one of the best locations for a restaurant in Door County and diminish it with mediocre food decor and service. Spending $200 on a dinner served on plastic tablecloth liners is ridiculous. They need to go take a look at chops in egg Harbor to see how it should be done. I asked if I could take a glass for wine back to my room they said no. I’ve never run into that . So after the first day we loved our stay there but ate in town The cabins are wonderful and so are the motel rooms. We loved our stay there if they ever get a new company to run the restaurant it could be so amazing

Easy to find on the corner of highways 50 and 67, five miles from Lake Geneva. Free wine (first bottle), soda, water, coffee and snacks, plenty of towels, great TV's and a gas fireplace. Strangely only one waste basket, a shortage of USB's and a lack of places to set things down.

We are staying here right now, so far our lights don’t always work, beds are terrible and move around, pillows are terrible, remote does not work and also the microwave doesn’t work. Will not recommend for anyone to stay here!

Experience small town hospitality on the road less traveled. This quaint rustic country lodge features 8 queen guest rooms each with en suite bath and two 2 room suites for traveling family's. Great room with fireplace, free continental breakfast Minutes from Road America and Whistling straights Golf.
New business so we had to check it out with a trip down from Two Rivers. There is a lodge above but we came for the dining room opening. Drinks were great (old fashion), and the Pub Burger was a hit. Appetizer of Brat bits and pretzel bits along with the cheese dip was something nice that was unexpected. Just off highway 43 so this would make a nice stop coming back from Milwaukee.

Small motel where the owner emails you a combination for the lock box on your door. Well we were sent the wrong room information and a very upset naked woman thought we were trying to break into her room. We did get the correct room info from the owner, but the naked lady wouldn't let it go. We barricaded the door, slept a couple of hours and left early without showering. The sheets were clean, we just had a bad start and bad first impression.

Memorial Day weekend 2022 my family stayed at Pine Point Lodge in Potosi Wi. The cabin that we stayed in was "Bullwinkle". First of all the cabins are located close to town, close to a main road yet secluded. Where do I start...the cabin itself was very nice. It was decorated to give you the cabin vibe. It was very clean and provided everything that you would need except for your food and clothing. I mean there is even spices to cook with in here! More dishes than you would need and a dishwasher (including soap!!). A very nice fire pit area with nice wooden chairs and benches (no need to bring your campchairs). There is a first aid kit just in case. Bedding and blankets provided so no need to bring yours, plenty of blankets and pillows. These folks have gone over and above to make sure that you enjoy your stay at Pine Point Lodge. Mark and Jo, you get a 5-STAR rating from us!!

The views of the bay were outstanding as were the surrounding grounds and the employee who greeted us at check-in were very helpful. I wish I could be as positive about our room. It was dated (like someone else stated....stuck in time), there was a stale odor, the air conditioner was very loud, the floors were dirty (my white socks turned black), a centipede greeted us when we turned on the bathroom light, there was a towel under the back of the toilet (to catch water??) on the floor, there was only 1 small bar of soap and to top it off the television was very tiny and the reception was terrible on at least 2 channels. We did not plan to watch a lot of tv because we were out and about all day; however, it would have been nice to unwind after a long day and watch tv on a screen that was at least larger than 21". For the high end price charged, we expected more than a low budget hotel.

The cabin was beautiful! There was a lot of snow but John kept the roads plowed so there was never a problem. It was so peaceful to sit by a roaring fire and watch the snow fall. There are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from! We were looking for a quiet getaway. We got that and so much more. This was our third visit to the Estrold Resort and we have enjoyed every one of them! We would highly recommend this resort!

We have been staying at Eagle waters for many years with our family. We love the grounds, Pool, Restaurant, Chain of Lakes. Service has always been great along with friendly courteous gals in the office. We were told upon booking that cabin 14A was rustic, but there's a difference between rustic and uncomfortable. The beds were horrible, comforter smells like dirty hats, one of the showers didn't work, sewer smell in the bathroom, no TV, several lamps did not work, ripped and torn curtains and falling down blinds. Very few amenities in the cabin. Will always go back to Eagle Waters as we love it there but will never stay in that cabin again. Can't think of her name but the waitress at the restaurant was fabulous! Literally running back and forth from the tables to the inside to ensure fast service.
