Situated just a short stoll up the hill from the town centre, the Deco Stop commands one of the very best views in Santo. There you can enjoy the delights from the Narcosis Bar & Restaurant which surrounds the infinity pool. The staff are only too happy to tend your every need and make your stay a memorable one.
This is a great place to stay for a few days or a week to dive the impressive SS President Coolidge wreck. Rooms are with fan or AC if needed, are super clean and spacious. There is a nice deck with pool and view and lots of options to crush down for beer at the end of a day. Breakfast is also plentiful and has fresh fruits and good Tanna coffee. Lunch/dinner is delicious but not cheap. Best is the staff, friendliest and very helpful people. Thanks for a great stay.

The bungalow was very beautiful and traditional relying on solar panels for the power. The bungalow had a balcony with a fantastic view of the volcano. Daniel was very welcoming and friendly. He was very happy to help arrange some tours as well as transfers to and from the airport. Daniel provides tasty traditional homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday - superb! Would highly recommend these bungalows if you are looking for once in a lifetime experience with fantastic hospitality, just make sure you take lots of cash and arrange transport as it is very rural with no local shops or restaurants.

Oyster Island will be closed until further notice. Set on a private 25 hectare island just 2 minutes crossing from the mainland. Oyster Island Resort resides within a Marine Reserve, abundant in marine and wild life. Sandy beaches, tropical rainforest, coral reefs and war plane wrecks make for fantastic snorkelling. Bungalows line the waters edge, each with private decks or patio's, enjoying stunning views out over the calm lagoon waters. Family Vila allow room for parents and children to enjoy the large grounds and gardens and are set off the water for safety. Skilled Chefs serve the very best of local and western cuisine from our waterfront restaurant. Only 20 minutes from the airport and township.
What was once an idyllic place to holiday resort was destroyed by the new Chinese lease holders. Firstly they treated their staff appallingly, they reduced the food offerings and were anything but friendly and hospitalble. They then proceeded to destroy all of the key buildings in 2018 and that was the end of what had been a paradise. Crazy stuff!

Rah Paradise Bungalows is run by the family Dini and is established by Father Luke († June 2017) in 1993. Rah Paradise Bungalows is the largest provider of accommodation on the small island. Currently the offer includes a family bungalow with two separate rooms (twin bed) and a beach bungalow with space for two people in a twin bed. In addition, there are two first generation bungalows, which will be replaced by two beach bungalows with two rooms each by the end of August 2019. All family and beach bungalows have a private bathroom with water connection. The family Dini offers the stay on Rah Island in an all-inclusive version. The kitchen team indulges the guests daily with freshly cooked food, which comes from the surrounding areas. In addition, visitors can book various day trips and many other activities on site. Rah Island is a beautiful and one could say paradise-like Island but the most special part of Rah is the authentic kindness and open-hearted mentality of our people.
We just returned from a week at Rah Paradise Bungalows. We had heard a number of great things about it, but it truly surpassed all expectations. Full of integrity, knowledge and positive energy, Young Dini has created the perfect conditions for an ideal beachfront island experience. Sarah, who ensures a steady stream of fresh flowers and tidy rooms, will keep you well-fed with quality island kai. And the people of Rah are warm, fun-loving and industrious - we felt like family immediately and found it hard to leave. This place is a must! Tenkyu tumas!

This Luxury Pool Suite is located within Trees and Fishes, a spectacular beachfront retreat offering discerning travellers a service level only possible within our private setting. This is one of four Luxury Pool Suites offered. Each suite encompasses rustic Balinese inspired tropical ambience, encompassing the pristine natural surroundings. Spent 6 nights at Trees and Fishes. Jeanine and her team are fantastic, every little thing was looked after. Roberto cooked some amazing meal for us, Teresa kept out room spotless and Gabriel looked after everything we needed. The resort itself was fantastic. We had a luxury pool suite. The pool was refreshing in the humid Vanuatu weather. The fishing was insane. Jed looked after all the bookings etc and the crews of Stefan/Benny and Harry/Jaime were incredible, putting us onto some great fish. Yellowfin, Dogtooth, Mahi Mahi, Trout, Sharks and we also hooked up onto two marlin!! Definitely recommending this placew and we will be back!!

Some local friends brought us to Towoc for two nights and it was the highlight of our trip to Vanuatu. The staff is AMAZING. We went to sleep hearing the ocean just a little bit in front of us. Champagne Beach is breathtaking. If you want a true authentic island experience, this is the place.

The property is fine minute walk from Norsup airport. The host is really friendly and helped me get around the island. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The only drawback is the absence of Wi-Fi.

Hidden Treasure Bungalows resort on Tanna island is set amongst lush vegetation in secluded tranquility, and takes in spectacular views of the ocean, stunning sunsets and white sandy beaches. Close to the beach amazing rock pools can be found which make beautiful swim sites, perfect for snorkeling. Hidden Treasure has four bungalows, all built Melanesian-style with private facilities catering for the comfort of both single/independent travellers and couples. The resort is located on the west coast of Tanna island, not far from the main commercial town area of Lenekal. Tours on offer include an adventure trip to Yasur Volcano, Yakel Custom Village, the Tanna Magic Tour and more. Return airport transfers can be arranged.
We loved our stay - the place is a family business, remote from other tourists and set on a beautiful beach. The pocal people are great and the meals are delicious and good mix between local and western cuisine. The access to the sea a little bit difficult as is everywhere on the west coast but it is very good for snorkeling; also, the blue holes are not far. The bungalows are quite basic but sufficent, have shower and electricity and the place is very nice and well taken care of. If you have some food with you, be careful and put it in a sealed container or let the staff store it for you - this applies for anywhere on tanna :) All in all a very good base for the west part of Tanna. PS i would almost forget - The Tanna Coffee factory is just 10 minutes away by walking and is a really interesting thing not to miss.

Staying in the tree house was an amazing experience. We sat in the window watching the volcano for hours at a time listening to it grumble, and at night you could see it glow. We waited for 3 days for it to stop raining and never did make it up Mt. Yasur, but still really enjoyed our stay. Fred and Nancy were amazing hosts and we are already planning our next trip back to try to see the volcano when it is clear. Fred picked us up from the airport and made sure we bought water and whatever else we wanted before we left Lenakel. The area is quite secluded so it's useful to bring some extra food. Breakfast was included. Nancy cooked some delicious local food for us for our meals, and we enjoyed discussing recipes and gossiping. The accommodation was very simple but comfortable. Make sure to put ALL food in the cabinet so a rat doesn't chew into your bag, even that forgotten granola bar at the bottom. Yes, it's a tree house in a banyan tree and you are going to see some wildlife up there, but it is worth it! Going to the ash plains (about 1/2 hr walk) and having a run around was a lot of fun and there's a beach a little bit further on. The stay can get pricey very quickly with the driving and extra tours available so make sure you know how much cash you have!
