The peaks of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and their fellow snow-capped giants make Italy's Valle d'Aosta region a haven for serious skiers and hikers. The Courmayeur resort offers year-round icy adventures, thanks to its Giant Glacier. The country's oldest national park, Gran Paradiso, is also located in Valle d'Aosta, as are numerous castles. A cable car ride from La Palud carries passengers over the mountains all the way into Chamonix, France, offering a bird's eye view of the breathtaking scenery.

Stayed here for one week as two families for a skiing holiday. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and the apartment had everything we needed as a family. We were half board and they simply couldn't do enough for us, from the breakfast to the evening meal, everything was perfect. The food is delicious and there is plenty of it, my children ate so much steak (daisy), we could not have asked for more. Everything is home made and authentic, from the beautiful vegetable soup to the trout to the chicken, simply wonderful. The hosts are always on hand and nothing is too much trouble for them. I can't wait to return, easy access to the slopes and the village, who could ask for more. A real find, thankyou Rifugio.

This is our fourth stay at this place because it ticks all the boxes, food, ambience, wine, location and amenities. Highly recommend half board in the evening you just relax and enjoy their food and genuine hospitality. Thank you Elena and Daniele.

Our stay at Les Noyers was very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well set up to enjoy the view (fun to discover that, in earlier days, the cows enjoyed this privilege). Annamaria was exceptionally warm and kind, helping our party walking the Via Francigena to find our way after arrival to dinner in Champagne and then driving one who needed medical advice into Chambave the next morning. We were very happy with our brief stay: it would be as good or even better for travellers by car.

An ancient stone and wood house, a typical Aosta Valley architecture with stable and pasteun on the ground floor, large rooms on the first floor and the barn on top of it. This is the home of Nuit: a prestigious dwelling that brings to life the emotions of the past, a unique and unmistakable style. Five rooms with private bathroom and an apartment with kitchen welcome our guests in a place away from mass tourism, ideal for those seeking relaxation and contact with nature. Rooms and apartment have been completed in 2018. We enjoy the peace and the isolation of the high mountain, but we are close to the tourist attractions: in the summer guests have access to a large equipped outdoor area, terrace and solarium with comfortable deckchairs. Sauna and a Scandinavian tub complete the outdoor relaxation area. The area in which we find ourselves and the surrounding places offer our guests the opportunity to appreciate and buy the products of local artisans and practice outdoor sport.
Beautiful & magic place. The breakfast is to die for. The owners are warms & caring, they make you feel at home. If you are looking for a place to regenerate yourself Nuit a Pleiney is the place to go. Thank you for a magical weekend…we will be back

We had a great time! The hotel is in a great location. The owner is so helpful, it made our vacation so convenient and enjoyable. The ski resort near by is perfect for a family vacation, there are many restaurants and we enjoyed a nice Spa that was booked by the owner of the hotel. We will definitely come back!

From the moment you walk through the door and see the beautiful traditional timber construction and cozy interior this place warms your heart. Sarah and her family are so welcoming ,friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble , I have lost track of the number of times I have visited this special place over the years and it never disappoints . The food is home cooked and traditional but also elegant and so tasty. Champoluc never ceases to amaze me with the range ,quality and value of establishments throughout the town so it is hard to shine when the standards are so high but this place is a real star . Thank you for always helping make our holidays so special .

Luca and Geta made us feel very welcome in this delightful townhouse style 3 room B&B. It has been very nicely and cleverly renovated fairly recently with a spiral staircase from the ground to the second floor. We took the very interesting and cosy top attic room with a small balcony from which you could make out the Matterhorn in one direction and look in the direction of Monte Bianco in the other. It is tucked out of the way but really close to the action. Just steps away from the Roman bridge and few more to the ‘arch’ and is at one end of the ‘main drag’ which is stuffed full of great restaurants, bars and authentic shopping opportunities not to mention some very nicely incorporated roman architecture! Parking can be a bit awkward but it is free on adjacent roads. Breakfast was superb. Great coffee and the best fresh rolls ever, local cheeses and cold cuts plus all the other usual suspects.

Lovely italian and english speaking host. We were a little early for check-in but no problem. We could choose between 2 apartments. We choose the one close to the parking. Hou need to climb stairs for this one. The other one is at street level. The apartment is basic. The bedroom is cosy but the other 2 beds are in the livingroom. There is a kitchen but you are not allowed to use it!! Breakfast in the morning is outside with a beautiful view. Italian breakfast, so croissants and marmelade. Served at 1 big table with the other guests. Nice to practice your italian. Good startingpoint to climb to mountains on the bicycle. We cold leave the car at the parking. Tips for dinner in the neighborhood.

Elena -a three kids Mom geologist- runs Li Tzatagni, Chambre d’Hotes. Together with her husband she restored a tiny mountain bourg in Champorchet. You can experience the old fashion wood design atmosphere with all the contemporary comfort. Every morning homemade marmalade and jams on dark bread, fresh local yoghurt, homemade apple cakes and a lot more, in the breakfast house room. Snow view, blue sky and local products to hunt in the premises!
