This was absolutely horrible. My daughter and I woke up with bed bug bites after staying there. We alerted management and they were terribly rude. Like us letting them know was such an inconvenience . We didn’t get to switch rooms . There was no inspection or anything . They just sprayed in the room. After this didn’t solve the problem we reported again and all that happened was the owner started screaming at us in the middle of the parking lot . Told us he would call the cops and we had to leave in 15 minutes . Than when we tried to get to a different hotel the owner already called and told them not to rent to us! Crazy! We didn’t cause any problems we were calm that man went nuts.

Located far enough away from large resort complexes, Sea Mystique invites you to enjoy the serenity of Garden City as you lounge on the secluded beach. If you have been looking for a way to relax and get away from it all, this is your answer. There are several quaint beach communities to explore nearby including Surfside Beach and Murrells Inlet, and the excitement of Myrtle Beach is just minutes away. At the end of the day, you can retreat to this peaceful paradise where the beach beckons you at your doorstep. **Please note there is a STRICT 1 vehicle per room policy**
Adequate unit as far as beds and kitchen goes. Old dated furniture and fabric headboards could be causing allergy irritations. Great access to beach and balcony was excellent. Good location between Myrtle beach and Pawleys Island. Would stay here again.

newly renovated all rooms including bathrooms, LED HD flat screen TVs with Direct tv include over 120 channels, 10 HBO, CINEMAX channels.
this place looks unassuming from the outside. I came here because I was stranded while traveling and the guy at the car rental place suggested it as they have just remodeled. He wasnt kidding. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Has microwave, mini fridge COLD AIR. TV mounted on the wall had Direct TV. There is a table and chairs for dining. Staff was friendly and accomodating weary stranded travlers. I would recommend this motel.

Since the new owners have taken over this place has hit rock bottom. I do not recommend staying here at all. My two siblings and I arrived Wednesday and opened the door to our room and were completely disgusted with what we found. There were 2 full beds and a single. They were made but one of them had dirt and grass on the spread. Huge cobwebs in every corner, a wad of hair in the sink, toilet not cleaned and very nasty, a half roll of toilet paper (for 3 people staying 3 days), no soap, bugs crawling every where, and the water stinks up the whole room. The employees are rude and act like they are mad and don’t want you there. Due to the corona virus there is no inside dining so you have to eat outside and fight the bugs and gnats. We went next door to Mac Daddys and ate our meals inside. We were told to leave our dirty towels outside our room on the steps and housekeeping would get them and replace with clean. Good on first day but 2nd day we left towels and a note asking for more toilet paper when we left the room at 7:00am and they were still there when we returned at 4:00. Still no paper. The only good thing about the trip was the fishing. We had fun. Oh yeah, their cut bait is way over priced. Just please take my advice and stay somewhere else. My family has been coming to Santee for 40 years and always staying at Hill’s. This was the last time here.

It was a great stay! Great price! Awesome pool! The owners are so nice and family friendly they have grills at the pool so you can cook out at any time of the day. We’re definitely going back. They were also remodeling while we were there

I'm looking for a refund this place was very nasty and not cleaned very well at all. It needs to be remodeled. All you can smell was Marijuana and loud talking the whole night. This place has gone down very bad. Noone is keeping the update.

We arrived here at the Travelers rest motel at about 12 pm. We were in the mist of hurricane Irma and we needed somewhere to stay. Since this motel was cheap, we weren't expecting anything fancy, but at least it had to be clean. I walked into the bathroom after we checked in and saw the shower was full of soap scum and missing tiles. The toilet bowl leaked all over the floor, and there was half rolls of toilet paper on the floor next to the toilet. The inside of the door said hateful things written in sharpie.. we then sat on the bed and re-evaluated our stay.. We opened the draws, there were dirty spoons with what looked like peanut butter on them.. walls were dirty and banged up. We then went to the front desk and told the lady at the front that we wanted a refund but she denied us any help. I will be contacting a health inspector for I have taken pictures of EVERYTHING!

Photo of Stephanie Keefe Stephanie Keefe 14 minutes ago Horrible condo. Stayed at Prince Resort unit 1505. From the moment we arrived we had issues. The door would not open so we had to stand outside with our 88 year old parents and all our luggage for someone to come let us in. We had issues all week with the door not opening and had to have someone come let us in at least 3 times. The condo was nasty. Called right away and said for the $1,600 plus we spent we wanted to stay somewhere else. We were told they had to come reclean first and then they would look to move us but had no other condos right then. See photos for filth. Called to make sure manager was there to voice our concerns and show photos and were told yes so we drive the 5 minutes to office only to be told the manager to have just left so we spoke with someone else who didn't see too concerned about our issues and offered us $250 refund and gave us a free cleaning when we leave (joke) we scrubbed to make it livable for the week. They offered to move us Tuesday evening but at that point didn't want to pack up and move our parents and since we had cleaned it so much we stayed. I sent a certified letter to the Dick Elliott the day after we got home and printed out photos to show the bugs in the bed and just how nasty it was. I know it was rec'd by them as I have the signed slip but they never bothered to respond. I requested a full refund. Since they didn't respond I contacted the BBB and of course Elliott responded to them in a day and said they would give no more money back but wanted to offer us a discount on our next stay. I will never stay with them again. I want my money back. When you spend that kind of money you don't expect to have bugs and such filth. All the photos were taken after the 2nd cleaning. I would not recommend them to anyone. They do not care about their guests. Please think again before spending your hard earned money with them.
