Terrible staff ruined the place
Reviewed By SVrhErikaAll the staff is horribly rude. No one speak Slovenian and they are even mad if you talk Slovenian and don’t understand their language. My husband wanted to ask about some things about the cottages, no one cared about it. No motivation to explain anything. And as he doesn’t speak english well, they didn’t even try to help. The prices are extremely high for everything they offer. Not recommended at all!! Never returning back and sharing bad words of them with everyone!!

Reviewed By magdafanjulMe gustó mucho.Muy nuevo, limpio,cómodo con todos los servicios,aire acondicionado,etc.En la entrada hay una máquina de café que viene genial por la mañana si no se quiere salir a desayunar .No tiene ascensor pero es normal por tratarse de una casa típica.Situación fantástica en el centro del pueblo.Precioso pueblo y alojamiento muy recomendable

Great surprise
Reviewed By Felipe GWe made a stop going from italy to Croacia and I must say that it totally worth it. The house is in the middle of the forest, not far from Trieste but in a totally different climate zone, the hotel has good food, great rooms and very good value for money.

Great 3 night stay
Reviewed By Tommy FThe receptionist was helpful giving us tips on places to see and eat upon check in. The rooms are exceptionally clean and you can help yourself to coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Great location on the edge of the centre, close to the bus station and plenty of shops.

Amazing!
Reviewed By klaras716Marcel and his wife are so warm and welcoming! They did such an amazing job with renovating the house. Each room has its own bathroom, both are clean and beautifuly decorated! Definitely don't miss out on the breakfast - it is TOP NOTCH! We can't wait to come back!

Terrible campsite in nice valley
Reviewed By Jasper SThe campsite is in a nice valley. The owners are terrible arrogant, driving past every tent to collect the money. To lazy to open the reception for check in and check out. The reception is not there. When we asked for a bakery they told us “there is no bakery”. When we asked for a place to swim “good luck with the short Slovenian coast”. We only stayed there for two nights, leaving earlier is better than staying one more night. Tips: Clean the sanitation area every day! Re open the reception for check in and out Give some advise when guests are arriving

Decent for the price
Reviewed By GoodtastingsteakStayed here for 1 night in a double room with the shared bathroom. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are nice and clean, and the shared bathroom is especially spacious. AC was good, but wifi is weak and can only be used outside. There's a pool outside for guests to use but when I checked it out, there were a lot of dead bugs on the surface floating. Breakfast wasn't included in my stay but Patricija (I think it was her) informed me it would be 5 euro per person. Finding the place is not very difficult if you have Google Maps or Maps.me, but finding where to check in was difficult - there's 3 buildings and it's the two story one in the middle, and the host's home is on the lower level. The location is very close to Most Na Soci and Tolmin - nothing in the direct vicinity of the home which makes it very quiet. Decent for the price!

Awful experience, bike stolen
Reviewed By 912mathewsWe have stayed in campground and our ebike was stolen in the daylight us being on the spot. Security and care of this place seriously lack. There is also just concrete beach and lots of people. I would avoid Ankaran altogether next time.

The best hosts in Slovenia
Reviewed By Dominika SWe went to Slovenia only for 3 days and initially wanted to spend one night at Guest House Tenja, cause we were travelling by motorbike (from Poland) and wanted to see a lot of different places near the Slovenian coastline. But after our arrival, when we saw the whole Guest House and met Dejan, we decided to change our plans and stayed there one night more, because we thought that it wouldn't be easy to find such a great place in that area. The room was very comfortable and clean, the interior of the guest house is also very neat, nice and modern. The food was delicious and there was no problem to eat a decent meal, although I'm a vegetarian. But the most important value of visiting Tenja was meeting Dejan, who took care of us, helped us to choose the best things to do and see in the neighborhood and who was a veeeery great and kind host for us!
