100 hectares of woods and lawns in the calm Murge hills of the Itria valley between ilexes and secular oaks, stretches of evergreen pistaches, phillyreas and Irish Caithne plants, green fields of hay and wheat, ancient dry walls, drinking troughs carved in the stone: an oasis of peace and calm. There are 3 apartments and 7 double room. Bathroom with Iacuzzi, with autonomous heating and air conditioning. Furniture is in simple and natural style
Idyllic. Very peaceful and secluded but central enough to allow for easy travel to surrounding towns and true Puglia. This place is classy, it’s accommodation is comfortable and fitting for the destination you came to discover. Camille and Luca and the staff totally get the essence of service, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They will ensure that you are very happy. I would rate Masseria Lazzo Scagno as 10/10. Improvement? It would be fantastic if the beautiful food prepared for breakfast could be replicated at night but maybe that would detract from the peaceful serene calmness and don’t let this stop you from booking here - just eat out locally or during the day. It’s a fantastic choice and well deserved of its rating on Trip Adviser. I’m fussy and this place did not disappoint. If you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet with absolutely stunning surroundings in a place I believe is relatively off the beaten track at least to British travellers then this fits the bill. An easy fight from Manchester and a fairly straightforward journey by car to Martina Franca it’s very accessible but sufficiently secluded. Pool area is really smart and very neatly put together. Camille, Luca and Anna thank you so much.

We had a very nice stay at hotel Reverse! The people were very friendly and in my opinion the real situation is better than on the pictures! There is also a nice beach on walking distance. Especially when you have a car I would really recommend this hotel. Thanks for the stay!

This is not a place we would have considered travelling on our own. Chosen by the arranger of our bike-tour. Location a little bitt off-center, but everything in reasonable walking distance. Breakfast was excellent and so was the room.

We stayed 4 nights in this nice little apartment building (in the ground floor room with terrace), and really enjoyed it. Adele was very nice, energetic, friendly and helpful (although we all struggled to communicate, given our lack of Italian and her lack of English – still it worked, with a bit of Google Translate!). Our only challenge was not hearing back from the property when we emailed about our arrival (which was going to be evening time, coming from Matera), and arriving there at the property without any way to get in or knowing where to park – luckily we were able to call her and make ourselves understood enough to explain we were out front, and she quickly arrived on her scooter). The apartment consisted of a hotel-size bedroom with large bed, small table and chairs, and a hallway kitchenette next to the bathroom and front door. All very functional and comfortable. We didn’t use our (large, nice) terrace too much, other than for hanging our wet things to dry, but it was very nice with many potted plants, and right next to the old town walls. Wifi worked well. Given the low season (Oct), we were always able to find a parking spot on the street near the building (and were grateful for the residents’ parking permit which we were provided for our stay). A highlight for us was the rooftop terrace (for use of all guests, though we had it to ourselves each time), with its views over the walls and sea beyond – a nice place for a sunset drink or cup of coffee (the coffee maker next to the terrace was also a nice treat). Breakfast at the beachside restaurant a short walk away was also good (in a lovely seaside setting) – fruits, yogurt, delicious little croissants, cereal, pastries, cappuccinos served by friendly Adele.

Nice place at the edge of the city with good views to the centre. The people were friendly and accommodation itself was more than adequate. So on these basis would visit again. But running the place, even though "just" a B&B, needs more professionalism: They had absolutely no idea of our booking (made online at their own website and had a printed confirmation!), and nobody spoke any English (though not a surprise), and after some waiting they tried to assign us to a different (worse) room than booked. After half an hour wait got a room similar to what was booked. Another couple had also big problems in trying to pay for their stay as the old gentleman didn't know how to use the credit card machine. And also two weeks before our arrival I had emailed them with a question, twice, but got no response. So if you book here during high season better call them to confirm to avoid nasty surprises.

Host and hostess were warm and generous, with good recommendations for places to eat and see.The trullo family rooms and the matrimonial room both had comfortable beds and good bathrooms. We had a great stay exploring the cities around Martina Franca by rental car. Parking was provided . The facility is located on a one-lane country road and we enjoyed our evening walk to aperitifs at the local caffe and pizza at Jonny's, the two closest facilities by far (5 min). Want to mention two items to inform the potential consumer. One, it's more like a 15-20 minute walk to the old city and restaurant district. Otherwise a car is needed with concomitant parking hassles as in all Italian cities. Two, we were surprised that breakfast consisted of self-made coffee and packaged items to be consumed in the room.

This was our first time in Lecce. This accommodation is very tastefully presented in a quiet street, yet central to the sites, quaint streets and great restaurants. The owner, Luca, made great recommendations for dinner and was very helpful. A quiet stylish property in the centre of everything!
