This restaurant/hotel is situated in an old stone building next to the thousand year old castle of Frontone. It is small, five or six rooms, but the accommodations are excellent. The owners, Alessandra and Giacomo, are friendly, hard-working people. The views are truly impressive! You will get a good night’s sleep because it gets very quiet after the restaurants on the hilltop close for the night. Plenty of parking, with the exception of the weekend, when people from all over come to visit the castle, admire the views, and eat at one of the three very good restaurants. But even then I always managed to find a space. I had an extended stay here, about a month, and the food, service and hospitality were all consistently first class!

Good deal if you're coming with your own car. Otherwise, there are buses but they stop early, so take into consideration the possibility to walk a little bit to reach Pesaro. The room was nice, with good air circulation despite being under the rooftop. The view was great. Bear in mind that the railway is just in between the locanda and the sea, so if you are a light sleeper you will need earplugs.

The Villa of Pignocco rises in a panoramic position on the gentle slopes overlooking the seaside town of Pesaro. It is an ancient and fascinating farmhouse dating back to 1700 and today it has been carefully restructured. What was once the barn, the stall, the tower and the sharecropper’s residence have now been turned into comfortable apartments, where one can take a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature and close to the sea.
Nothing much to say. I always prefer an old traditional place from a boring hotel. Lots of charm and a great view from the top of the hill. Morning breakfast was good and served nicely by Anna. All in all I can only recommend the place.

Hospitality, courtesy, refinement are the characteristics of B & B "ROOM WITH A VIEW". Located within the historic center, the building dates back to the fourteenth century, it managed with simplicity 'and welcome the architect Samuele Santi.
We absolutely loved our stay in Samuele's B&B. It was comfortable and spacious and beautifully and artfully decorated. Samuele is an amazing host. He is warm and helpful and ready to answer any questions about Fossombrone and its surroundings. The rooms have a spectacular view of the bridge and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. As an added bonus, Samuele has beautiful handmade earrings avaliable for sale, and I took advantage of this option! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this B&B wholeheartedly to both families and couples.

I found everything nice about it. The view of the surrounding nature, the quietness, the owners, the breakfast, the help... To go to nearby Urbino there is a bus not far from the B&B. Urbino is also a beautiful spot for one or two days, a lot of culture and birthplace of painter Raffaelo.

The rooms are simple, but comfortable and functional, all with bathroom. Small environments that make you rediscover the pleasure of a peaceful rest and wake up immersed in the nature.
This is such a find if you love a simple yet sybaritic style of holiday. Not too far from the amazing walled Renaissance city of Urbino, yet you feel in the depths of the stunningly beautiful Marche countryside. The bedroom we arranged to move to, finding the one allotted a bit small , had windows in bedroom and bathroom on the corner of the house farthest from the kitchen, the views were stunning across the hills towards San Marino, and from the bathroom the tips of the towers of Urbino showed over the woods. The pool is as in the photo, and if the sunloungers were a wee bit faded, they were in tune with the aura of the place, laid back and a little scruffy, but so welcoming, who cared. Now for the clincher, Francesco was the perfect host, helpful but unobtrusive, and with his lovely wife ran an amazing kitchen. Local produce perfectly cooked, with enough variety, we were very happy for 4 nights, why stray. weekend special, slow Pizza, the best ever. Breakfast was "Italian" style, strong coffee, french toast, biscuits, juice yoghurt, and a huge slice of fruit tart. As a concession we got some cheese. But when in Monte Oliva... So if you are not stressed by a laid back approach, and love food prepared with loving care, good wine, local beers, and peace, this is the place for you
