The whole experience was perfect, highly recommended. The view from the lodge was stunning, we spent one evening watching the sun setting for about two hours cosy on the balcony. There was plenty of car parking and the road was very quiet, especially at night. There are lots of leaflets for local extractions and services, we used a recommended taxi service. The breakfast was devious, the service was very welcoming and friendly, thank you to the lady (can’t remember her name) she was wonderful. Thank you again for the lovely accommodation, I just wish we could have stayed longer.

A delightful 1830s country house, fishing lodge and hotel in one of the most spectacular settings in Connemara Ireland. It offers charming accommodation, glorious scenery, great food and total tranquillity. Located in a wild and unspoilt valley of extraordinary beauty, the 1000-acre Delphi estate is one of Ireland’s hidden treasures. The historic lodge, famous as a holiday hideaway, is surrounded by the tallest mountains in Connemara and overlooks the lakes and rivers of the Delphi valley famous for their salmon and seatrout fishing. This beautiful lodge has 13 large comfortable bedrooms one of which is a large family suite and three which can be either twin or triple rooms. A large dining room, a snooker room and three old world reception rooms with log fires all combine to ensure that our guests have a warm, relaxing and friendly experience throughout their stay.
Spent three nights with family in one of the cottages as we had dogs. The cottages were lovely and had everything one would need. The grounds were beautiful and perfect for a stroll with the hounds. Food at Delphi Lodge was delicious and staff brilliant and a big shout out to Mary and Geraldine. Lots to do nearby, pretty villages and gorgeous beaches. No complaints from this group. Thank you for a wonderful three nights.

Lodge @ The Old Barracks is a Carefully restored Townhouse full of charm & Style with Award Winning Food & Service. Fully refitted in 2018 and opened to the public in July our rooms come in all shapes and sizes each with flat screen Tv, Tea & Coffee Facilities, Complimentary Water and a sample of goods from our on Site Bakery. Just 12 km from Galway City, Athenry is a Town full of rich local Heritage and the ideal base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way and West of Ireland.
A group of us rode the "Ride The Classic" sportive from Monavea (highly recommended also!) and stayed in Lodge at the Old Barracks afterwards. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, Conaire our breakfast server was particularly good. We enjoyed recovery pizza and drinks in the attached Pizzeria, which was also delicious, and the breakfast was plentiful and quick. Couldn't fault a thing really.

Such a great find for my husband and I- it was exactly what I'd hoped for after reading reviews and looking at their website. We didn't use the tub but I could see its appeal. Bed was supportive, USB-friendly outlets, quiet, beautiful views, and breakfasts were amazing. Helena was our server and the one who checked us out- she was a real gem and made us feel right at home.

Stayed in the purple room and was welcomed with coffees and teas in the room. It was spacious and comfortable, with a TV and a gorgeous view of sheep and meadows out the windows. We all slept super well, and the price was very reasonable. The hosts were lovely, and cooked the best breakfast we had throughout our weeklong stay in Ireland. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer!

We had a lovely time at Drumhouse. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, I loved the attention to detail. The hosts John & Donogh were very nice. Beds were comfortable. Great location if you want to visit knock shrine. We will definitely be going back at some stage.

Had a great stay at the Lodge recently. Lovely, large modern rooms and bathrooms. Great for families. Ballina town is on your doorstep with all its shops, pubs and restaurants. Loved the courtyard and had a beautiful meal in Dillons next door. Highly recommend

Endroit retiré en pleine nature, calme & reposant. Nous avons eu comme un appartement pour 2 ! Chambre très spacieuse. Bon accueil des propriétaires, petit déjeuner excellent. Dommage nous avons eu un peu froid.

Stayed here for a weekend break with friends, from our arrival Leigh and all the staff did everything in their power to ensure our stay was enjoyable.Amidst the restrictions because of the pandemic we still had a great weekend and all the guidelines were strictly adhered to and didn't hamper our enjoyment, the food in the Connaught Inn and the great bar staff (Andrew, Carlos) made for a great time, I would highly recommend this place for a staycation as not only are the prices very reasonable the service is second to none.
