We are a complex of guesthouses, wellness and restaurant. Our guesthouse is composed of 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, shower and WC. We give the guesthouse, not a room, for 4 persons price range from 50 to 70 euros. We have the country's one and only operational stream watermill. Our restaurant offers traditional Hungarian cuisine and authentic Filipino cuisine. The only Filipino restaurant in Hungary.

The owners treat guest like friends, we felt ourselves home from the first moment. The food is very good, in matter of quality and amount, prices are very reasonable. I rarely write this, but if you like to try different places to eat, you have to try restaurant while you are in Hungary. The surrounding is beautiful and the road leading there represents the real Hungarian countryside.

Wonderful hospitality in beautiful Northern Hungary
Reviewed By Viktoria KWe enjoyed genuine hospitality and care throughout our stay at Rozsakert Vendeghaz in Romhany. The guest house is clean, comfortable and cosy with excellent value for price. The owner is extremely friendly, welcoming and he helped us a lot with sightseeing and activities in the area. He has a vast knowledge about the region and does everything possible to create an enjoyable stay for his guests. He made a delicious, hearty breakfast using home grown vegetables and herbs. We also loved the sports facilities provided by the guesthouse (bikes, badminton, table tennis, etc.) and had a great time relaxing in its salt chamber. The guesthouse is located close to the supermarket, and Romhany, the village itself is only about 80 km from Budapest. It can be easily reached by bus, too and there are plenty of excursion options in the neighbourhood. Our tour highlights in Romhany were strolling through the village admiring the beautiful scenery, watching the sunset from the hill of Rakoczi's famous Turkish hazelnut tree, observing animals on the fields during early morning hours and chatting with the friendly local people. The nearby village of Bank offers a fantastic lake for swimming, and there is a breathtaking mountain view from the Pronay lookout tower, which can be reached from Romhany by hiking through the forest - both were superb excursions which we would do again! We highly recommend Rozsakert Vendeghaz in Romhany to everyone who is looking for peace, serenity and truly hospitable people in the countryside.

A Rigofeszek Vendeghaz 2009 ota varja vendegeit az Eszaki-Kozephegyseg egy vadregenyes volgyeben, a 700 eves Matraszelen. Furdoszobaval & konyhaval felszerelt, kenyelmes appartmanjaink egesz evben varjak a nyugalmat kereseo, termeszetet kedvelo vendegeinket. A hazi kedvenceket is szivesen fogadjuk!
Quiet place in Matra
Reviewed By kisskThe guest-house is located in a very nice village, near the Slovakian border. The house offers apartments with two rooms. The rooms are clean, the furniture is quite basic. The owners are helpful, the surrounding is nice. One of the problem is that it is very difficult to find a decent restaurant in the region, if you are unlucky and the nearest restaurant is booked, you can travel more than 20 km. Also the room is quite expensive to what it offers. I would not go there another time.

Reviewed By AshubidabadubaHo soggiornato in questa struttura per un impegno di lavoro. Non credo ci siano hotel internazionali in zona e quindi ho prenotato. Devo dire che mi sono trovato bene, le camere sono ampie e spaziose e molto pulite. Il letto non particolarmente adeguato, e purtroppo senza la possibilità di oscurare tutte le finestre (almeno la mia camera) ma ho riposato bene in un silenzio e tranquillità inconsueti. Ho cenato in albergo molto bene, cucina casalinga molto buona, anche a giudicare dai piatti degli altri commensali. Simpatico il titolare e la moglie con i quali ho piacevolmente conversato la sera. Colazione ottima, squisita abbondante con buon miele e marmellata locale.
