Nestled in the upper reaches of the Bolavens Plateau, Sinouk Coffee Resort offers to couples, families and friends , a fresh and haven to relax , rejuvenate and reconnect with Nature. The Resort is surely the most extensive and beautiful landscaped place in Southern Laos, don't miss it !
The resort is located in a beautiful garden at the coffee plantation. The room was perfect cozy, decorated Lao style and facing a water (small lovely pond and a brook) . Staff were caring and attentive. Great food that comes at a very good price and many choices. The hotel offers very good promotion/deals- excellent value for money. A great place to relax and rest.

We booked a room with garden view and ended up in a room with a view to a roof with rubbish. The manager told us this is the garden view - wrong advertisement! Also the room, especially the toilet was not clean. Also they tried to get our money even before we saw the room - now I know why - be careful! The best is the location and the sandwich stall in front of the hotel - amazing Sandwiches!

Apple Guesthouse offers quaint, personalized & friendly 06 room accommodation in the heart of this unique UNESCO heritage city, just behind the main tourist street & two doors from the mighty Mekong River & its varied restaurants for all budgets. A short walk will get you to the major attractions; temples, restaurants, tourist information, tours, & morning & night markets are just around the corner. Rooms are spotlessly maintained; many in teak, which is the traditional Lao style. All have air-cons, fan&free Wifi, LED TV with CNN, BBC&HBO. Smoking area is only allowed outside the guesthouse. A large triple room is very useful for a small family or if you are a group of 3 with a Queen & a king-single bed. The common balcony upstairs overlooks the alleyway’s activities, where you can sit and enjoy free tea, coffee, cool water & magazines. It’s a popular place for people using the free WiFi. Close to every thing such as Jama Bakery, post office, tourist information office, restaurants, n
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. We had a room with two beds, so the room was more spacious compared to rooms with just one bed. The staff were friendly and even though we did need our room cleaned daily, they still gave us water and toilet paper when needed. There is no breakfast but there is a coffee/tea station upstairs. I was up there every day preparing my morning drinks. It was a nice touch. It is basically what sold me on the guesthouse while shopping online. We used the upstairs balcony every day for coffee in the morning and beers in the evening. The location was great. I would highly recommend this area. Super convenient to everything. There are multiple money exchanges, a convenience store, a few restaurants, and a few western cafes within a 0-2 minute walk. Night market is less than a 2 minute walk. Need a taxi? 10 second walk.

Amazing guesthouse on the way to Konglor Cave. Cheap comfortable double rooms that were more than adequate and very clean. The restaurant had amazing Laos and western cuisine!! And finally the owner and her family were very polite and went above and beyond to ensure your comfort. I couldn’t recommend this guesthouse more!

An unassuming bungalow of teak wood reveals a menu of more than a dozen varied traditional massage services. My Laos massage ($20 including tip) was relaxing as well as therapeutic, (with little jet lag after this hour of massage), expertly given by one of the staff. Little English is no problem--just point to what you want, then pay upon leaving. Easy.

This is a Chinese style hotel a bit out of the city center but very convenient if you plan to rent a motorbike. Rooms are spacious, with air-con and wifi. Beds are huge and hard, Chinese style. Breakfast is simple but there’s both western and asian options, fresh fruit, coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The staff are very nice, sweet and helpful.

Good food, our favorite was the spicy papaya salad as well as the spicy beef salad and chicken krapow. Nice view, directly at the river. Friendly staff and the food didn’t take too long. All freshly made

The peaceful Hillside Lodge is idyllically nestled in the Lao countryside. A charming, family friendly and laid-back nature retreat, only 12 km from Luang Prabang, surrounded by protected area with primary forest, with scenic mountain views and beautiful waterfalls nearby. It's a family run place offering authentic bungalows with a twist of style for 20 guests. The Hillside is set amidst a lush tropical garden and has a swimming pool. An organic garden provides fresh vegetables for the restaurant. The Hillside Lodge is an ideal place for outdoor activities off the beaten track. Amazing waterfalls and ethnic villages wait to be explored. Guided and self-guided hikes are available. Mountain bikes are available for rent. The Hillside's mission is based on ecologically and socially sustainable principles.
This is a unique spot just outside Luang Prabang. Very clean, private rooms, and eco-friendly. Lovely herbal sauna and pool, a fire to gather around at night and great food. Very happy with our relaxed stay and could return to take advantage of the many hikes available.
