We spent just one night here and were rather impressed with what we got for the price compared to other way more expensive hotels on Victoria Island. The restaurant had a good menu, although much of it was unavailable (I was looking forward to trying their quinoa and avocado but it wasn’t available). The chef is Egyptian so the food is halal. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so they put us in a temporary room by the bar to rest. They moved us after dinner to a large room with separate living room, but unfortunately some bugs came in and we had to change rooms once again. This third room was fine. The kitchen kindly brought us breakfast at 5:30am as we had to depart early, but then they had problems checking us out as the breakfast bill hadn’t been added yet. We had to wait 10-15 min to checkout and we were in a rush to get to the airport. Overall we were impressed with this hotel for the price, but the front desk service could be improved.

Villa Picasso is a very clean and nice hotel on Victoria Island. The room was very nice, all furnishings new, the bed was great, good AC and there's a generator so there's always power. I had a room on the 4th floor near a roof deck which was very nice. The only down side is that the staff, while friendly, needs more training for catering to guests. Staff were very loud in the hallways early (6:50 am) in the morning, talking & slamming doors. When I asked one of them to please ask everyone to be more quiet so I could go back to sleep, she looked at me blankly & didn't reply. The restaurant has a nice menu but they didn't have anything listed except chicken with fries or fried plantain. On the up side, a full breakfast with egg, toast, baked beans, a hot dog, and coffee / tea comes with the room price and it was all good. I did ask for juice and it took awhile for the waitress to find me some, but as with everything they were mostly very accommodating except for the early morning noise.

Panorama Hotel and Restaurant,Victoria Island,Lagos,Nigeria . Panorama hotel is located in a prime area of Lagos.Includes facilities like swimming pool , free wi-fi ,comfortable rooms,Bar including a variety of beverages and a multi cuisine restaurant offering a sumptuous choice of Indian and continental delicacies.
Centrally located. The rooms are basic, the food is exceptionally good. The hotel does not take international credit cards. I had to draw money at the ATM to pay for my stay. The staff was friendly and assisted to any requirements I had.

I live nearby the hotel and have visited the bar after work a few times. It's outside, has tables and chairs and some couches. It's a perfect place to relax after work. The waiters are efficient and friendly, and there's always music playing. I like coming here and it feels so far away from home and work. Thank you!

Stayed at this hotel twice during my trip. My flight came in by 3.15am, so collected my luggage and passed through customs and immigration. Got into my car and left the airport by 5.15am to my hotel. On arrival the staff was waiting for me, and I was checked in swiftly an shown my room. Constant electric, helpful staff. I even left my phone in my room when I checked out, but they kept the phone safely for me as I was coming back in a few days.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds and rooms were always clean. Very peaceful. My husband and i will stay here every time we visit Nigeria. Nigeria's unknown treasure for sure.

I spent a week here during a research trip to Lagos - it was my first time to Nigeria and the staff - a great team - and the owner of the hotel were just great in helping me figure things out. The place is recently renovated - but its best feature is the great hospitality, and home cooked food with all the best specialities. All the amenities described are in perfect working order - air conditioning, television - nice bathrooms. I'll be coming back here when next in Lagos...

It was very spacious and it had an extra little room, a sitting room. The bathroom was also spacious and had a tub (bucket and scoop included, but not necessary to use). There was a school across the street and on school days, I would listen for the children to sing right before school started. Very wonderful to hear, especially because I did not expect it. The staff is incredibly helpful. I asked for a few things the night I checked in and it was apparent that some of it was brought to me straight from the staff's kitchen supplies (which was much appreciated). A hotel in the U.S. would have simply told me they didn't have for what I was asking. Outside of the hotel, there are little stores and restaurants everywhere. Whatever you want, you can find it. If you walk out of the hotel and go the left, there's a restaurant a few doors down that had great food. I'm pretty sure it was Igbo food. They also play local music which I like, so that only added to the experience. Also, the hotel itself isn't that far away from the airport.

Very friendly Staff! They carried our bags from the car to the rooms, they made sure our room was air conditioned upon our arrival and the room had been sprayed and netted to prevent mosquitos. Every morning they made my breakfast order and brought it to my room. They honored my request of allowing me to keep my hotel key, even though your suppose to turn it in daily for cleaning. They aimed to keep me happy and informed me as I asked about the type of purified water they used for my breakfast making. They even let me in the kitchen so I could inspect how clean it was. My only concern was the shower water didn't spray out a significant volume like it does in the U.S, but when in Rome....Being an extremely picky American I would still stay here again, because of the cleanliness and the hospitality! And the larger suite I had that had a separating door! Thank you Chris who made my food and Mr. K who connected us to this hotel. P.S This was my 1st ever visit to Africa

I really dunno what they were thinking having beds as hard as a rock for people to sleep in. The mattress felt like the floor literally. It is a place you can manage for an overnight stay especially if you are on the move. Don't count on sinking into the bed after a long day. There is no parking space inside the hotel but they let you park in the compound opposite it.
