Start from 170K rupiah with twin bed, air conditioner, and tv! This guest house also very close to shopping mall and mahakam river. Looking forward to stay here? You can book online as well :)

The best around here but.....
Reviewed By Max YStaff are friendly, limited English however. Tried the dinner in the restaurant. Hard to understand the menu. Food was ok but can be better. Room was ok but no blow dryer and cold water shower. Can't expect too much for what I'm paying.

Reviewed By Cathy RWe had such a memorable experience with our 4D3N trip booked through Ecolodges Indonesia with 2 nights at their Rimba lodge and one in the boat. Wonderful orangutan encounters - in the wild (so rare!) and at conservation feeding stations for ex-captives. Also lots of sightings of very comical probiscus, acrobatic gibbons, langurs and macaques. Incredibly prolific and rare bird life and day and night walks into the magnificent rainforest. Terrific boat crew and great food at lodge and boat. Major bonus was our local guide Hakim with generations of knowledge and stories to share. Good to know that by booking at Rimba you’re helping conservation efforts.

Something is missing
Reviewed By Cerote1001We spent a couple of nights at the lodge in the upper king suites. The view there is stunning. The general staff is friendly and ready to explain anything about the conservation station. The food is good. But you could do more of the place. The welcoming warmth experienced somewhere else is missing.

Una velada muy agradable
Reviewed By nadiacampos81· La familia que lleva el alojamiento es encantadora a mas no poder, super pendientes de que estuviésemos bien y contándonos cositas del pais, una charla muy amena. Es cierto que el alojamiento está al otro lado del rio y alejado del centro pero tienes un barquero hasta medianoche que te cruza gratis. La zona tiene mucho encanto y por la noche la llenan de luces como si fuese navidad. Nos ofrecio 2 sitios donde quedarnos y finalmente nos quedamos en la casa familiar. La habitación era muy amplia, limpia y cuidada, además de una cama muy cómoda. El desayuno espectacular, había de todo, fruta, nocilla, tostadas...para todos los gustos Nos recomendaron un restaurante local para cenar que nos encantó · El baño está al lado de la cocina y es un poco rollo ir hasta alli, ademas de que el agua está fria.

Room smells of cigarette
Reviewed By suryananda mi was told that Tarakan plaza hotel is one of the first hotel in Tarakan. It's an old hotel that doing well keeping up with time. Stayed at the spacious deluxe room for 2 nights. Room is pretty clean and comfy, bed was great, amenities are provided, but unfortunately when i first arrived it smells of cigarette. Food here was tasty, they have a wide variety of cuisine selection, I've tried their pizza and it taste great. Hotel was pretty strategic, there is ATMs, mini market, and also the famous "warung teras" across the street.

Reviewed By Laurentius CSince we will stay for seven nights and will do most activity outside off hotel, we looking a budget hotel during in Balikpapan. For price was good for budget hotel, with free wifi, tv cable and the location also strategic easy to find transport, meal and mini market. The room off course was small but clean, with good amenities. The staff of hotel was friendly and 24 hour on duties. The minus of this hotel was the bath room floor, it was slippery, they was choose wrong material for the bath room floor. Some wallpaper need minor maintenance also. Overall it is nice hotel.
