We had our wedding here and the staff and facilities are excellent. We had 120 guests and most stayed extra days because they loved it here. Best wedding ever we kept hearing and it really was thanks to Eve, Sinead Ryan, Adam, Alex and Aherlow.

We recommend An Stor Townhouse in Midleton Ireland, if you want a homey atmosphere for your Bed and Breakfast. Within walking distance of local restaurants and stores, our hostess also offered a continental and/or full Irish breakfast the next morning.

Stayed for 3 nights to visit my husband 's famiy and his grave. Perfect location and it was previously the house where his sister and family lived, so it was personal as well. Charlie has done an amazing job on the rebuild, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the shower ....well I would have gladly taken it home !!!!! Absolutely top class thoroughly recommend a stay, stunning views of the glorious scenery. Can't wait to stay again.

The original Estate Courtyard has been converted into luxurious 2 bedroom lodges. These lodges can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, contain combinations of split level reception areas, living rooms, fully fitted kitchens with dinning areas, bathrooms and bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms containing jacuzzi baths in many. Each Lodge has smart TV and free Wifi is available throughout.
Stayed in lodge No.7 for 3 nights (16th-19th)... First of all I’d like to highlight that when we arrived absolutely no information was given to us when checking-in in relation to meal times of the restaurant, contact numbers, local attractions/ shops destinations or the usual stuff that gets told to you when you check-in somewhere. It is so important that this should be made available to make guests feel welcomed to any property. When we were escorted to the lodge the first impressions of the lodge was okay we were a bit surprised at the amount of space the lodge offered. Then we started noticing things after an hour or so of settling in such as practically no WiFi (which is stated is available throughout) or a signal that at most held for 10 seconds then drops completely away leaving you with nothing (no cellular signal either by the way). Next thing we noticed was when one of our party went to use the bathroom and was greeted by a god awful non-mistakable sewage smell coming from the downstairs bathroom which quickly expanded throughout the lodge & left us running for sprays. Of course this was relayed to the reception immediately via Facebook messenger as there were no telephones, the message was read but we received no reply so we decided to physically go to reception and relay this & We were promised a WiFi booster and did receive this the following day after having to chase it up as I had previously expressed WiFi was essential due to work commitments. We also re-highlighted the sewage smell of the downstairs bathroom to the polite young man who brought us the WiFi booster whom said he’d pass it on about the sewage smell. Next thing we started noticing was the cleanliness of the place it was just average and could of been cleaner in our eyes considering the price of the place ie grease stains wiped off cooker hood light & the surrounding cupboards, marks of dirt around doors & handles, dust & cobwebs behind tv and cobwebs from the side of kitchen cupboards. The sofas that were in the property were a bit worst for wear as well the leather sofas springs were near popping out and sank in the middle as for the cloth sofa which should of never been in a pet friendly accommodation smelt real bad, we had to spray it a few times to try and disguise the bad smells coming from it (which we had to go out and purchase). We also had to literally fight with the refrigerator door to keep it closed as it kept opening by itself. As for the upstairs area we never found a problem except for 2 minor things the dirt marks around door handles of the doors and there could of been more of an effort made to remove limescale marks around the seams of the shower doors. The beds were comfy, firm & also clean. Also a tip for the cleaners of the lodges it would be nice to leave a few extra bin liners so the bins can be emptied more regularly as stated on the notice on the wall. I was actually quite surprised to find these faults after reading such good reviews which is what attracted me to this place but I believe it’s better for the proprietors to have knowledge of these things to improve their service. The only resolution we received was the WiFi booster heard nothing back about the sewage smell.

This was such a nice treat. Totally different to souless hotel rooms im used to. Lovely house with friendly host Johnjoe. The most fabulous breakfast with freshly made brown bread and granola prepared by the man himself, as well as warm scones just out of the oven, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and choice of lovely hot food. Lovely touches of Vera Wang wedgewood cups and plates and quality coffee. Top quality bed linen. Wifi. No tv in room but there is one in comfortable breakfast room. Had a little stroll after breakfast and met the horses.... just as friendly.

Great selection, super tasty breakfast. B&B is run by a lovely lady, Kay. She made our stay there fabulous. She is very warm, welcoming and helpful. Real gentlewoman. Thank you for the lovely vacation!

This is the place to be in Bettystown. Super friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. The beach right on the doorstep. Bust stop just outside the door with regular busses. Only downfall is parking spaces, there is only a few and they could do with a few more.

We got married in Coolbawn Quay in April. It was an incredible experience! The venue is stunning – beside the lake and surrounded by nature. The houses are beautiful – well proportioned, traditional but completely modern. The whole concept of having a bespoke venue and accommodation reserved for you & your event is perfect. It is wonderful having your loved ones around you all the time. The wedding day itself was amazing. From start to finish, the wedding team are there for you. They are completely unobtrusive, yet there when you need them. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable & to ensure your day is special. We cannot thank them enough. The ceremony was personal and intimate. Prosecco on the deck with the sun shining on your face was glorious! The food was delicious! So many people said to us that they had never had such good food at a wedding. The pub on site is quaint, traditional, and cozy. Perfect for a relaxed and intimate next day gathering. We had a trad session and we loved it. We cannot recommend Coolbawn Quay highly enough for your wedding and hope that your experience is as magical as ours!

So lucky to have found this beautiful B&B! Found Woodleigh Lodge while googling places to stay in Courtown. Sue was very responsive, friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Our breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Sue's B&B is spotless and very tastefully decorated. Sue is a total love! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Woodleigh Lodge and would highly recommend staying here!
