Stayed for 4 nights and it was the most amazing place ever. The staff is so nice, the view is out of this world. The breakfast is spot on! The rooms are clean and comfortable.. We enjoyed every minute!

Stayed in the recently built hotel part - three lovely air-conditioned rooms with clean beds, hot showers and a fantastic view from the windows. Good food and a fridge full of cold drinks. A very restful place.

MB Ht is a wooden flooring house, over 60 years old. The whole house remains rustic, antique. The house has 2 shared rooms ((Each room can accommodate up to 30 people)), 1 traditional kitchen, 1 modern kitchen, 1 living room, 1 dining room, 6 bathrooms, 6 toilets. There are also gardens for growing vegetables and flowers and fruit trees. The whole house is always clean, neat.
Rekommenderar!

The first time I came by here was on a bicycle (actually staying somewhere else in Mai Chau) and promptly was invited by Xuan, the owner, to a cup of tea. She speaks very good English and is super friendly so I decided to come back and stay a couple of days. The home stay offers private rooms as well as dorms at very reasonable prices including breakfast. There are several very clean bathrooms for your use and a big common area where a cup of tea is always possible and you easily meet other guests. Xuan and her daughter in law also cook very well and together with some other guests we were invited to cook with them. They really should offer cooking classes (and said they might soon). It is possible to take a bycicle, rent a scooter or go on one of many tours with Xuan, who is also very knowledgeable about different places and life in Mai Chau. Do not miss this place, if you want an authentic experience in Mai Chau!

We were planning to stay in the town of Hoa Binh, but after cycling around the town looking for suitable accommodation, we quickly realised that it’s such a characterless and sleepy town. Decided on Hoa Binh Hotel as it was a bit out of town and seemed to be a beautiful setting. We were not disappointed. The room rate included breakfast. The reception staff members were efficient and friendly. We had two dinners on site and the food was generally good, although the restaurant staff members weren’t as friendly and efficient as the reception staff. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Quinh, Uncle Tay and the whole family are absolutely beautiful folks who go out of their way to make everyone’s stay a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing and there is so much of it, you will have tight pants when you leave! Loads of variety, while we were there we had duck, fish, chicken, beef, dumplings, banana leaf salad, papaya salad and loads of different veggies. Oh and their rice wine! The activities were so much fun! We fished both In the lake and in their fishpond (and released them back), made baskets of different kinds, went to the market on the tractor, kite Flying, and jamming with Uncle Tay. There was an awesome rope swing too, which the kids loved. When we went for walks, the family’s dogs came to look after us (and chase sticks): they were such good doggies. The traditional house is lovely and romantic to sleep in, even in the dorm. They organised taxis for us from the bus stop and gave us great directions. So close to Hanoi yet in the middle of the country: We will never forget Quinh and her lovely family. Memories forever ❤️

The slightly run down feel of the Farm added to the quirky charm. The bamboo huts were rickety but beautiful. This was not sanitized tourism accommodation but felt alot more genuine. The family who run it don't speak much English but are so friendly and helpful that communication is easy. Really helpful in arranging onwards transport for us. The evening meal provided was one of the best we had during our 2 weeks in Vietnam. If you want to experience some real local interaction I would definitely recommend.

This was our favourite hotel by far. We were a 6 people group travelling in couples. We slept in the individual houses. Views from the terrace were amazing. The cabins were cozy and clean. They are perfect to enjoy a romantic night! The hotel also offers coffee and breakfast. We had eggs and bread, fruit.. and they were good. The hotel is abiut 2 o 3 km away from the village so private transport is needed. The views are totally worth it.
