Reviewed By anniemarie39I don't have enough words to describe my stay at Vila Panda. Very cosy, clean with an unbelievable mountain view. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel like home, very helpful and ready to give you any information you need about the hiking trails. Amazing experience, I am sorry I didn't stay longer.

Crazy beautiful
Reviewed By rosum484Fantastic place. We are going there at least 2 times/ year. Usually we book entire villa for our feiend with kids and us. Is unbelivable, the host is friendly, they prepare barbecue and all other stuff, kids are playing and we drink from miraculous wine of Marian.

Reviewed By MirceaKThe house is situated in a nice quiet place, close to the monastery and the cave. The guest was very friendly and did the best to fulfil all our request. Excellent food at reasonable prices, they were flexible in preparing what we suuggested.

Reviewed By bogdan1457Very well positioned in Baia de Fier! The owner, Mrs Adriana Deaconu has been strongly involvedin offering us the best experience! All the rooms were very clean, with several relaxing areas includimg a small pool. All the facilities needed, both inside and outside! Strongly recommended!

good place to rest before going up the hills
Reviewed By Sza_beeThis place is a family run business. it is a perfect spot for the tourists who want to set a base before going into the mountains. Same for skiing in Ranca. Not too many rooms, which can be an advantage. Best of all is that the owner know pretty much the surroundings and has a real knowledge base for the ones who are not familiar or there for the first time. His advice can save some trouble further up the mountain.

The host cancelled my booking at check-in. DO NOT GO THERE!!
Reviewed By Bogdan RI have booked a room at this house a week in advance (for the weekend November 28-29), and confirmed by phone two days before check-in. In the evening when I was supposed to check-in (arrived at the facility around 6 PM, in a rainy day), the host announced me that "sorry, we cannot accommodate you as we have a larger group that extended their stay". Let's say I can accept that, but I asked 1. how come they did not call me a few hours in advance to ask me if this is acceptable, and 2. to arrange me a different accommodation at the same price (should there be any price difference, they should cover that). She shrugged her shoulders. So I would advice that you avoid this hotel in the future, terrible experience.

Perfect for a stay before going on Transalpina
Reviewed By 581marleeenAbsolutely lovely place with a lovely host. I arrived late, but they still prepared me a meal in the evening. Fresh and yummy breakfast. Clean room and comfortable bed. Nice and quiet place (but be prepared for some animal noises, but it's part of the charm when in a landly area). The host is really the best!

Reviewed By cstanaseGood place for staying in Tg Jiu. Near city center, a bit noisy but clean and modern rooms. Great garden, good beds, ask at the reception to start the heating a few hours before arriving. Owners are good people, they are concerned about your well being while you are their guest.

Reviewed By Oana CA quit place to sleep, very close to Brancusi Park. The services and the athmosfere were great. They give us precious information about were to eat and what to visit. The price are good and we will go back soon.
