A great place to stay in central Kitwe. Simple and relaxed hotel with very helpful staff. Service good. Very good value for money. As a fan of curry I particularly like the menu which is a strong reason to stay in itself. Wifi could do with some improvement though.

Cozy lodge in the heart of the city of Kitwe. Cafe on site as well for a nice cuppa java in the African setting of Zambia
The food is certainly exceptional, fresh and very tasty. I have never been disappointed with any order. The setting is very relaxing and the staff are very friendly. Quick service is a plus. Definitely worth dropping by

Behind big walls, in the middle of Chingola, you can find this cozy lodge with a giant garden. Although there not finished with construction it's still a nice lodge. In Zambian standards it's a 5-star lodge, converted to a western standard it's a 3-star motel. But it's hard to find anything else in Zambia. It's quiet and you sleep very well in the big comfortable bed that is placed in the middle of a big airy room. The rooms are clean and there is pretty good pressure in the shower. The lodge has a restaurant but don't expect a menu. They say that the chef can do anything you want.

Stayed over for a night with my husband last weekend and was really shocked at the level of service..upon arriving at about 13h00 we were told that our room wasn't ready... check in time is at 10h00!! The surrounding areas had not been cleaned up from the previous day... bottles and glasses lying around the bar area. then we decided to have a drink at the bar while waiting but we were told that the person in charge was in chingola with the key!!! We had to go all the way to town to buy something to drink and sat outside with not a single person enquiring about our needs or anything! The bar was finally opened after a long wait and the lady in charge never even offered one drink! We asked for some dstv music but she totally ignored the request...disappeared and left us to listen to loud local music videos. We then decided to book dinner which took more than an hour to prepare since there was no salad and it had to be bought first... the food was satisfactory. The next morning we tried to have coffee in the room but there was no milk or coffee so we settled for black tea! We then proceeded to order breakfast which is included in the accommodation rate...there were no cups and sugar at the serving station so i asked for some which again took half an hour...again we waited for about an hour just to receive 2 eggs.. half a Russian sausage.. 2 tbs baked beans and white bread because there's no butter for toast!!! How ridiculous. I left with a heavy heart because I live within walking distance and had hoped that it's a place I could visit again.. but that won't be happening. I don't understand the lack of service since there were many staff mmembers around... I suppose just waiting for their salaries at the end of the month... Chabanga is a lovely place and has lots of potential and I hope the owners will do something about the problems and change what's happening. No one has any pride and joy in what they're doing!!!

We stayed with a group of three Germans for business for four days The lodge is nothing fancy but has all you need: - clean rooms - working internet - warm breakfast (English style) - own bar and restaurant. Which we did not test but asked them to organize a barbecue which they did - reasonable room rates Extremely positive was the receptionist who tried to take care of all we asked for. In summary: definitely nothing special (do not expect big television, great breakfast menus, shiny floors and reception) but a place I will for sure return when I come to Ndola as you feel very comfortable due to the friendliness of all people around

Took a 25 min drive to Mist Gardens. The kids activities where not available. The steak was well presented but poorly executed. The fish and kebab starter where ok. The prices are very fair. Service was good and the pool was clean.

Kuku Lodge is a luxurious lodge located in serene Kansenshi of Ndola Copperbelt province Zambia.
We booked there since this Place was pretty much the only place in Ndola you could book on Booking.com The owner James was really nice and helpful and organised a taxi to pick us at the bus station as well as to Dag Hammarskjöld memorial outside Ndola (a must to go there for a Swede). The room was not so good. We were two (male) friends and had to share a Queen size bed, there was no hot water in the shower, there was no guest wifi at all and dinner took 1 hour and 45 minutes to cook from the order (a hamburger with fries!). We pre-ordered a breakfast to go since we left for Congo at 5.30 AM but they forgot about it so they had to drum up a cheese sandwich while our taxi was waiting and we were stressed. Finally, this place is really on the outskirts of Ndola so you'll need taxies if you don't have your own transport. We paid 65 USD for the double room.
