We and our Golden retriever loved the hotel, calm relax stay surrounded by a large garden and lake close by for a early morning stroll with Sparrow our dog. Fresh breakfast with a selection of bread and pastries from the local boulanger ? We highly recommend the hotel where we slept very well with fine bedlinen. We will be back soon !!!

Large clean room, Expected for standard continental breakfast, surprised to have exceptionally rich breakfast, but note, not included in the room rate. Extra charge. Local parking, quite area WiFi was great. Friendly stuff, Highly recommended !!!!

The room with small kitchen area had the feel of student accommodation and the literature confirmed that the building was indeed split between that and hotel rooms. easy to find, car parking on premises was welcome. Man at reception was friendly and helpful. Short(ish) stroll into town, could have taken the tram. On an overnight stop I don't want to wander around choosing a restaurant. I'll cook dinner, have a good night's sleep, sort my own breakfast in the morning and be on my way. This ticked all my boxes.

This superbly placed bed and breakfast accommodation provides relaxation and comfort in an attractive, restored farmhouse surrounded by an acre of landscaped gardens bounded by mature trees and shrubs set in tranquil rural surroundings. Situated in a quiet hamlet just a short drive from junction 20 off the A20 Autoroute, near enough to be convenient but far enough away to provide an oasis of calm after the stresses of the motorway.
Thank you to both Chris and Sarah for a lovely overnight stay, a great way to finish on holiday as we journeyed back to UK. Clean, Comfortable, beautiful surroundings. Plenty for breakfast and as I had asked about Gluten free were able to ensure I had enough to eat. The evening meal was very tasty and well cooked..our 8year old loved it. overall we would definately stay here again for sure.

Le Moulin du Bas-Pese, bed & breakfast and holiday cottage near Blois and the Chateaux of the Loire Valley The Bas-Pese watermill offers offers bed & breakfast and holiday accommodation in Sologne near the Loire valley chateaux and Bois. Welcome to the Bas-Pese watermill in Mont-Pres-Chambord, among the Chateaux of the Loire Valley. You will love this place for its rustic and genuine feel, in a pastoral setting by the Beuvron river where the donkeys, ducks, sheep, ponies and peafowl roam free. In the Loir-et-Cher, on the "Chateaux a velo" cycling trail, you will explore the jewels of Frances history, surrounded by the Chateaux of the the Loire valley, between Villesavin and Beauregard, 10 km from Blois, 13 from Chambord and 6 from Cheverny.
Beautifully located, totally quiet except for the noises of all the birds, very kind owners, we had a lovely stay here! Spaceous appartments, smelling somewhat odd when you arrive because of their age and the antique furniture (no problem for us). Comfortable bathrooms (although not completely accessible for wheelchair users who cannot walk at all!!). Very nice to see the donkeys, peacocks, ducks and to play with the dog. Certainly a place to get back to. And very, very close to many of the beautiful castles of the Loire region, about which the owner can tell you a lot!

We decided to spend a night in Le Blanc in order to explore the Brenne National Park and found this hotel on the spur of the moment. We're very pleased we did! The street entrance is unpreposessing - a door directly on the pavement - but once inside a different story unfolded. The hotel doubles up as a Beauty Salon with rooms to let. The owner/manageress is a lovely, helpful lady and showed us to a room accessed from the very pleasant central courtyard, hidden from the street. It was huge, spotlessly clean, with a comfortable four-poster bed, a settee and a desk and with an adjoining large en-suite shower room. You also had full use of the fully-fitted communal kitchen (where breakfast was served) if you wanted it, which also had an ironing board. All this for 57 euros a night plus 7 euros for breakfast, which was served by the the same smiling manageress. There is free on-street parking both in front and on the quiet street behind the hotel and the free Wifi was good. Not to be missed for a great French experience!

My wife and I plus our dog Bertie stayed at Domaine de la Limetiere on route to England. The property exceeded our expectations - modern, well appointed rooms, indoor swimming pool, beautiful gardens and a great breakfast. Our host Camille provided a wonderful evening meal on arrival, which we ate on the terrace overlooking the gardens. I highly recommend this B&B.
