Confortable place, warm welcome, good restaurant
Reviewed By christinecM824KAWe spend a very nice stay in this so nice place. Very well decorated. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. And the dinner at the restaurant on the terrace was excellent. We were on a motorcycle riding tour and it was good to rest in this very quite and comfortable place. The host couple is very sympathetic. We highly recommend this hotel and we hope to go back one day.

A small but fine 3 * hotel, just outside of Zurich's city center, in the Dallikon district. Zur Au is a family-friendly hotel in a clean, quiet area that also houses a number of companies. In the hotel, you can enjoy a great meal in our "Resti Au" restaurant, where our speciality is Italian food and have a drink in our "Malibu" bar with a variety of drinks and entertainments.

Reviewed By stioa2021I love fast food and i think the reastaurant of the Hotel Zur Au is GREATTTTT! The room is clean and the behavior of the staff was very friendly. The hotel manager was excellent. I recommend this hotel. ;) :)

Enjoyed our stay
Reviewed By Excursion86956Even though an Octoberfest party was going on at their restaurant it was still quiet upstairs in the bedroom. The accommodations were elegant and artistic. One note of caution: if you are taller than 6’ 2” the ceiling may be too low for you. We will return on our next visit.

Reviewed By Torbjörn WWe stayed one night. We were greeted and treated with the highest respect all along our visit. The hosting couple were so sweet. Night meal on the house and a breakfast so wonderful. We were given sandwiches and fruit to bring along! We slept well, beds are comfortable. Room and premises were clean and tidy. There were noise from traffic, but we slept well.

We enjoyed dining in the restaurant and spending fabulous summer evenings at the terrace. The food was delicious, the wine superb and service excellent! We recommend to you without hesitation!

Reviewed By Magda GNice and cosy. Spacious bathroom. Really good food in the hotel restaurant in the evening. Most of the tables taken :) friendly staff and big portions. Good coffee and surprisingly rather nothing particularly great to choose from for breakfast.

Reviewed By alexandero267Mitten in der Altstadt, über den Dächern der Altstadt, in liebe und geschmackvoller Wohnungseinrichtung. Zimmer zum Hinterhof sehr ruhig! Auch Raucher kommen auf der Terrasse auf ihre Rechnung. Absolut empfehlenswert.

A perfectly decent motel
Reviewed By C MRoadside american style motel. Room was nice and clean, had tv and wifi. Not the most modern place in the world but it did the trick. A drivable distance from zurich airport which is why we picked it. Onsite american style restaurant, which served ok but not great food.
