The sun-drenched Canary Islands lie close to North Africa and have an exotic flavor of their own. Hundreds of volcanoes, rolling sand dunes, rich forests and rugged cliffs dapple these seven Atlantic gems. Catch a ferry to Lanzarote. Ride a camel through volcanic Timanfaya National Park. Take on Tenerife, home of Mount Teide, Spain's tallest peak. Romp Grand Canary's beaches or hike La Gomera's Garajonay National Park. More adventures await on tiny El Hierro, verdant La Palma and peaceful Fuerteventura.

What a wonderful place. The apartments are in a fabulous location, minutes to the sea and a short walk to the small town of Costa Calma. We enjoyed getting on the beach directly opposite the apartment and walking along the beach, across many rocks and then either sitting in a beach bar or walking uphill to the small town. The apartments have a fantastic terrace overlooking the sea, I borrowed a yoga mat and practiced daily. I recommend the beach café on the rocks slightly to the right of the apartments, a short walk just next to the big hotel opposite. Fuertevillage is highly highly recommended.

MAGMA Rooms is an accommodation that has two floors and five rooms, each with a different and original decoration, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and private bathroom, as well as common areas that consist of lounge, dining room and pool with outdoor equipment for relaxation. It is located in Playa Honda, 3 km from the airport, in a quiet area only 7 min. walking from the beach and 3 min. from a shopping center with shops, supermarket, cinema, banks, pharmacy and restaurants. It is the perfect place to spend a stay away from the crowds of tourist areas and with a strategic location very well communicated, to comfortably visit the different points of interest that the island of Lanzarote has. MAGMA Rooms offers its guests the warmth of a friendly service, associated with an excellent professional service, including continental breakfast, daily cleaning of the rooms and the possibility of arranging transfers, excursions, massages and bicycle rental for an additional cost.
What a disappointment! This place is managed by a zombie, with whom we barely crossed eyes. There is automated entry, from the street and from the garden - provided, that is, that you can enter the correct passcode. It is rather noisy from departing airplanes and from a nearby bar. Best to avoid!

At the Hotel San Marcos time goes at a different pace and feel at home is natural. There are perfect atmosphere spaces for relaxing, resting, reading or simply breathing history and art. The hotel is a 18th century canarian mansion, which has been carefully restored. Located in the historic center of Icod de los Vinos in the north of Tenerife. 150M from the hotel is the Millenary Dargon Tree and the shopping and leisure area. Rooms with spectacular views of the mountain Teide, the sea horizon and banana plantions. Because of this priviliged environment the hotel offers landscape and island life experience in a real canarian atmosphere.
This hotel has a great deal to recommend it. It's in a delightful old building that has been lovingly looked after, with shining woodwork everywhere and generously proportioned bedrooms (as well as extensive public rooms). However, it would be wrong to suggest that it's all old-fashioned: the TV was hi-spec and the wifi functioned very well. The breakfast too was excellent, with great choice. All in all, it probably the best of the four places we stayed in during a recent visit to Tenerife. Highly recommended.

My partner Darren and I recently stayed at Corralejo Lodge for 4 nights. We love this place and have stayed here a few times in the past. We were greeted with a complementary bottle of wine on arrival as regular guests which was a lovely touch. We love the location as out the way but not to far away from the beach and shops and restaurants.Great service from the maid and reception love it.

We needed somewhere clean and comfortable for an overnight stopover on our way to Cape Verde. This is perfect and gave us more than we needed. The Rooms were clean and we had large communal areas on a self catering basis. There is a large, well stocked Spar supermarket round the corner to buy everything we needed for a breakfast before leaving fro the airport. It seems to be run by a family and we met Christian who had little English but a good phone app! (sign of the times). He was very helpful and arranged a taxi pick up for us. Little village of Aguires is lovely and probably not often visited by tourists who come for the beach and sun. We would happily return.

Really beautiful, more traditional decorated room. Delicious food. Only drawback is the walls are so thin I had to hear everything in the rooms next to me, but since everything was quiet from 22:00-07:00, it was fine.

Bref y a bien mieux à Aguimes!
