The brightest stars of Los Baleares are Majorca, Ibiza and peaceful Minorca. Situated between France and Africa, the archipelago's islands each have distinct characters. Majorca is the most developed and offers a mass of hotels, fast food joints and crowded beaches. Ibiza is loved by a hard partying set, including many gay visitors. It is also increasingly popular with upscale travelers, drawn by the chameleon island's reputation as "the new Provence." Pick an island and stake a claim on its sand.

Not only is this hotel, the food, the vista and most importantly Maria (director of reception, waitressing, bar tender and general person of everything!) super .. but it is Maria’s favourite word! You only need to read the other tripadvisor comments to know how super special the Bennoc Hotel is! Derek and I can not wait to return! The chef is more than super… we have never eaten such food on this island as here!

The studios have a double room with 1 or 2 beds. With or without furnished terrace, plasma TV. I also had the same experience as the previous 2 reviews. Due to Covid-19 we couldn’t go. A voucher was promised, but they never really gave a reaction after that initial promise. Every time I called a lady picked up who didn’t speak English. It was all very messy, in the end I just needed a confirmation of cancellation from them for my insurance company, no reaction again. Luckily my insurance company ended up paying it back anyway.

This is a great budget hotel in Ses Salines, about a mile up the road from Port Fornells. Rooms were simple but clean and the staff were very welcoming. There is a pool across small street at the back and plenty of parking. The breakfast was good and they also did simple lunches at a good price. We had a room with a sea view, which was very quiet. We loved the quietness of Ses Salines. There were two good restaurants within walking distance. This is a good value welcoming hotel in a great location.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our hiking trip along the GR221. Instead of staying in another dormitory (as recommended in our guide book) we preferred a double room with a private bath room at this small hotel. We stayed at a room on the upper floor, which shared a terrace with the room next door. But since there were no other guests we enjoyed the terrace for ourselves. The bed was a bit small and the mattress not the best, but for one night absolutely OK. We were afraid the church clock bell would keep us awake but fortunately we didn’t hear it during the night. Breakfast is not included but there is a nice café just around the corner.

Well why not? The weather was warm and sunny. An abundance of restaurants in the proximity of high quality including Es Verger, (just dont let celeb chefs near them!) Traditional fare abounds far from the madding crowd! The hostal provides all that you require: a dry warm, air conditioned room, clean linen and continental breakfast. The hostess, Margerita Oliver, is charming and very helpful. The hotel is located adjacent to the town square. So convenient. The guadia civil representative is a stroppy soul who does like you parking , even momentarily, to unload but thats short man syndrome for you. Officious and likes to throw his weight around and screams rather than converses. Parking is hit and miss, but there are free car parks in the proximity and I didnt have an issue finding a space, even managing to park outside the town hall, the night before departure. Alaró is a lovely town with market stalls on Saturdays, well certainly before Christmas. As for the parties, well they were phenomenal with a genuine flamenco dancer, tapas, main courses and puds. Put it this way, I came away a few kgm heavier than I arrived. And now Christmas! I'll lose this weight somehow. But the experience I shall never lose.

Villa Station is outside the village of Ses Salines, .. Overlooking the Mallorcan countryside, .. And close to the best beaches on the island, 3km from Es Caragol, 5km from Es Trenc, 5km from Cala Llombarts, 5km from Colonia de Sant Jordi. 3Km from Cape Salinas, 6km from Cala Mondrago
It is an old train station office converted into an appart-hotel. We liked it. Our surprise was Ses Salines itself. Restaurant, stores, bakery over our expectation. We also loved to use the pool at our place and owners place.

Beautiful finca in a really nice and quiet location surrounded by green mountains. Excellent if you want to escape from the busy tourist areas. Remote location but close to both beaches and the very cosy town of Arta. Seems to be s good area for hiking, but July is a bit too hot. There is a little swimming pool to cool you off, most of the rooms seems to have a little kitchen - so you don't need to leave the place once you have bought groceries. You can get breakfast served. Staff was really nice and friendly. Booking is probably best directly at their website. Highly recommendable.

It was clean and friendly. The kitchen was fantastic, induction hob and plenty of storage space. Perfect for a couple on a hiking trip in December. Communication with the place was great, they were helpful and welcoming.
