Reviewed By Erik SIf you go to Solovetsky (and you should - a lot of Russian history is preserved and displayed here), you should stay at the Priyut. Authentic style, very friendly staff, great home cooking and pleasant rooms.

Very relaxing place
Reviewed By BeachHunter_8Stayed here 3 times now, find it very relaxing when in Arkhangelsk. Food is terrible but always bring food from main city. The area is very quiet out of main city. Really enjoyed the Sauna here so hot but plunge pool was nice. Prefer to stay in main hotel block as quieter, did stay in log cabin once but so noisy not worth it especially if russian drinkers also staying there. Had great sledging even at my age. Just over road from Cabin Museum which is a nice day out. Plenty to do if you want quiet time away from city. They give you vouchers for breakfast, do not lose them as they will not let you in if you do..... however food so bad you miss nothing :)

Good place to stay but don't eat there!
Reviewed By Tanya CEverything was fine, the staff was very helpful and came to pick us up when we arrived. They gave us helpful tips which places to visit and where to have dinner. A couple of times we had to wait because there was no one at the reception. The rooms are cosy and each little house had a kitchen. BUT the breakfast was terrible! We had to wait 15 minutes till someone came to serve it, and it was a very unfriendly lady that threw a couple of plates of porridge on the table and then put GREEN bread as well. I think it was a few days old! We refused to have breakfast there because we were afraid for our health! And then the receptionist said that we were impolite with the kitchen lady and said we couldn't leave our luggage at the hotel because of that! That spoiled our first positive impressions((

Reviewed By kodak1975No a/c. No safe. Room cleaning means change garbage and new towels. Restaurant is so so. Waiters can mess up your order. Never opens on time. Can be closed at any time (I had to go to bed hungry because restaurant was closed at 8 pm). The only good thing is location.

Reviewed By Maxim YДорого: номер на двоих обошёлся в 3200 рублей. Номер просторный, но в нём присутствовала единственная маленькая батарея - поэтому было довольно-таки холодно. С горячей водой в душевой не было никаких проблем. Душевая с туалетом - одна на блок из двух номеров, что довольно удобно. Двери номеров открываются не ключом, а магнитным браслетом (т.е. присутствует претензия на высокий уровень сервиса, но лучше бы номера нормально отапливались). Завтрак - с восьми часов утра, нам давали блины и овсянку, без особых изысков.
