This was a great tour I would definitely recommend it if you are an art lover/collector visiting San Miguel de Allende. We were on a short trip over new year to this fabulous place, Arturo agreed to take us out on New Year’s Eve to visit four different artists. He collected us from our hotel and drove us out into several areas of the city to meet 2 painters and 2 sculptors in their homes or studios. Just visiting these different areas which you wouldn’t normally have access to was an experience in it self. Arturo spoke good English and gave us a background history into art in the city and of the artists we were meeting. I own an art gallery based in the UK and was really surprised how strong all four of these artists were. They had all spent years developing their own practice, techniques and it was fascinating hearing each artists talk about what inspired their work. We did purchase a couple of pieces and could easily have bought from any of the artists we visited. We will definitely be visiting some other of Arturo’s artist/galleries when we return to SMA.

Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera helped to define Mexican modernism while engaged in a tumultuous romance. On this 3-hour Frida Kahlo Tour we’ll get a glimpse into the life of Mexican artists. Our visit will take us to the Frida Kahlo Museum, or Casa Azul, her former abode and where many of her self-portraits were created. We will get a sense of how she once lived and worked. We’ll engage directly with her history as we surround ourselves by her artwork, her clothing, her photos, and even the prosthetics, and corsets she wore as a result of childhood polio and a horrifying train accident in 1925. We’ll then shift our conversation to focus more on Diego as we jump in a taxi to reach our final stop: the Museo Estudio Diego Rivera, or the dual homes and studios of the artists. Our expert will enliven the modern architectural space, the objects and artwork within the stories of Diego’s interest in native Mexican cultures as well as the couple’s love and the impact that they had

Inclusions: Entrance tickets to the museum of Frida Kahlo and Studio of Diego Riviera, Art guide for 3 - 3,5 hours, Skip-the-line guided museum tour

Guanajuato is a colonial gem sitting in a valley northwest of Mexico City. The city has been named as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The architecture of this gorgeous city was built using the great wealth generated from the silver mines during the 17th and 18th centuries; during this period, Guanajuato was the source for 1/3 of the world’s silver. You will also discover the labyrinth of tunnels beneath the city as well as the Haciendas and Mines outside of the City Center. . Today, you can see Guanajuato in its preserved beauty. The reviews on Trip Advisor regarding this tour are excellent and as a result we booked the tour in Guanajuato. Due to the coronavirus and the Australian government forbidding travel we could not get to Mexico and had to cancel the tour. I am writing this review to highlight the professionalism displayed by this company throughout the whole process of booking the tour to us having to cancel. They were extremely helpful and co-operative at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending them and, when this over, we hope to get to Mexico and will use Estigo at every opportunity.

We had a great time riding bikes in Mexico City! It’s a must experience! The whole things was perfectly organized and I felt 100% safe riding a bike in the streets of CDMX thanks to our tour guides. We had one guide in front of the line and one in the back. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge and gave details about CDMX I had never heard before. If you haven’t had a bike tour in CDMX I definitely recomended this one! They have different kind of routes and they adapt to your needs.
