Worth the climb (or the lift!) for the views across the bays. Stunning red and white set against the bluest of skies makes the lighthouse and the beach well worth a visit.

well a very beautiful place to visit. there is a lift to reach just below the top. then you have to climb two flight of stairs. the view is breathtaking. go in the evening to avoid the harsh sun. the breakwater is an excellent place for a really long walk. you may see lot of mongoose roaming around. some beautiful graffiti adorn the rocks on the breakwater. take lot of water and snacks with you.

The lighthouse, very close to the Anjengo Fort in Anchuthengo offers a superb 360° view over the fort, beaches, backwaters and endless coconut groves. It's very worth to climb up the stairs to the top. Be aware of that opening times are restricted to 3-5 pm.

Very well maintained by the authorities. It's allowed to climb to the top and enjoy spectacular views. The small museum is also very insightful. They also showed a shirt movie about lighthouses which I liked. Overall a great place.

Comparatively new light house with the sea on one side and coconut trees on the other, rising above the houses. A beautiful view of tranquil Kerala. With the lift installed, easily accessible for all

Worth the climb up a fairly steep stairway to see Alappuzha vista. Small museum on site where you can look at some old lighthouse lenses.
