Great get away from the crowded city
Reviewed By hoondcWe had a western room with 4 single beds, the village is relatively quiet good for a get away from the city crowd. The onsen is good, and the interesting and fun thing to do is have a good meal at the tore tore market. fresh seafood and bbq.

Reviewed By LilmovesWe stayed here for 2 days in a large 'western ' room. Comprised of 2 double beds bar fridge and sink, separated toilet and shower room and a large tatami matted room with a low table and low Japanese style seats. Breakfast is included in the room price and was Japanese style. There are 10 cafes and restaurants close by, as well as a Family Mart convenience store. Also available was a washing machine and dryer free of charge. Although the place is a bit dated, probably built circa 1970s, it was low cost and practical. The shower room needs love.

Hidden gem in Shirahama
Reviewed By Issei_travelerWe picked this hotel mostly due to its competitive price, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. The room was unusually specious for a Japanese hotel, consisting of a bedroom, dining/TV room, kitchenette, very large bath and a laundry room. While there were only 2 beds, 4 people could sleep there by using futon mattress. We were expecting that the hotel's walls would be thin and noisy because of the small hotel size, but we didn't really hear any noise. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. We could walk to a gorgeous white sand beach in 10 minutes. On beach, there was an onsen where you can take a bath with a swimwear (at least during summer). When we had to check out late due to a sudden illness, the owner/manager kindly offered us a discounted rate for the overstay. 値段の安さでこのホテルに泊まりましたが、予想以上の質でとても良かった。とにかく部屋が広い。ベッドルームとダイニング・テレビルームがあった上に、トイレとは別のとても大きい風呂があった。キッチンと洗濯機があったので長期滞在も可能。ホテルの近辺にはレストランが山ほどあり、とても便利だった。急病のためチェックインを遅らせなければならなくなった時も、オーナーはとても親切に対応してくれた。今度は夏に長期滞在したい。

安いがそれなりに良い
Reviewed By 旅好きのアキJR和歌山駅から歩いて5分くらいでしょうか？ちょっと古い建物の旅館です。古いですが、オーナーはいい人です。今回泊まったのは和室ですが、落ち着いた部屋でした。朝食も美味しかったです。

Reviewed By Departure809482直線距離で7kmちょっと離れて、標高400mほどから133m流れ落ちる大滝の上部は、弁天島の岩山の間に、この辺りの海岸線ならどこからもよく見える。 さらに裏の、小金浦漁港や弁天島・お蛇浦(じゃうら)からならよりよく見える。 温泉宿である。 食べきれないほどの料理を出す宿泊施設が多い中で素泊まりしか宿泊プランがない。 宿のHPを見ると浴室の広さに男女の差は無く、窓は目隠しの配慮であることがわかる。 食事提供は無いから、街に食べに出るだけでなく自炊設備はあるのか、ロビーには電子レンジがあるようだし、街には飲食店もコンビニもあるから、食料持参にするかなとといろいろと迷ったのだが… 地理院地形図で♨️を確認し、成分表で「掛け流し」を楽しむ。 ぐるりと宿の周囲を巡ってみた。
