I stayed 2 nights with my wife and 7y so and we just loved it! We stayed in the Japanese style room and it was super cosy. The staff were super friendly (they even drove us to the restaurant because there were no taxis available) and the private onsen were amazing! We had a great time!

Stayed one night in May while motor cycling touring. Hotel was nice, the lure was the outdoor porch hot water spring tub. Very nice. Room was fine, bed was a bit soft for my liking but the tub made up for it. The restaurant was buffet. WiFi was solid for those that need it. You really need a vehicle to get here though. Very quiet. Good stop for night.

Terrific service at the front desk. Really nice restaurant on the side, unfortunately we only had breakfast there, ran out of time as it was just a quick stop. The open air onsen (hot water spa) is fantastic. Nice shower facility before getting into the hot water. Just big enough for two (or with the kids), so it is private.

It’s a lovely place to stay, close to the river. The rooms are nice and the bath was much appreciated after a long day. Breakfast is really good with fruits, egg, and toasts. Very close to the shrines. Definitely recommended!

The front desk clerk was very kind and the check-in was very smooth. The room was small, but clean. The desk in my room was a little bit small and not suitable for teleworking. This hotel faces Route 4, which has heavy traffic. The road is noisy because many cars pass by until late at night. That is why I couldn't sleep well. If you want a quiet room, you should request a room not facing Route 4.

The hotel is comfortably accessible by car and a good base from which to explore Nikko in autumn. The Nichien Momiji Line is beautiful as the colours run throughout the road, and there are several points along the way that offer fantastic views and hiking trails. The food was brought to my room for dinner and breakfast and it was utterly superb. You also get a private onsen at night to enjoy. Definitely a place worth revisiting.

We welcome a foreign tourist. Many foreign tourists come every year. Nikko is wonderful city. We hope you have wonderful day in Nikko. We wait for you. Please make yourself at home :)
We spent 2 days at this inn. The rooms were very comfortable and the inn-keeper could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The only draw-back to the inn is the distance from the station and restaurants. You can do this uphill walk in half an hour, but not with luggage. This didn't really matter though as our host drove us to and from the station. A very homely place to stay.
