Luxury Resort located near Yercaud lake in Salem District, situated 4,700 feet above sea level in the Shervarayan Hills of Tamil Nadu is Yercaud , a quiet hill station with untouched natural beauty. Lakes, plantations, estates, English bungalows, walk ways and trek zones etc… INDeco NATURE RESORT Yercaud is set in the Eastlynne Farm Estate, a live coffee plantation on the banks of the Yercaud Lake, created by Ms.Henrietta Charlotte Rosario during the 1800s. The hotel has evolved around ‘Rosar’. Once called AVIEMORE, ‘The Rosar’ has been carefully restored to its original glory and is a reflection of the pride of the past centuries. Most of the rooms have been raised on the ruins in the estate, maintaining the regal Anglo-Indian style of Architecture of the late 1800’s. Converted into a heritage hotel, hospitality and indulgences co-exist here with lake views and the forest. Importantly, accommodations have been created only where nature has permitted such developments, within the ecological niche of the place using all traditional practices to protect the land, its heritage and ecology. This continues to be a signature project for reuse & recycling practices. The Fortune Magazine awarded the concept as the sixth of the top 10 ideas to green the world. Not an ounce of fresh wood has been acquired from the forests; other sources have been utilized for the creation of the INDeco Resort Yercaud. Condemned wood and wooden structures from palatial buildings in whatever form, are continuously collected, restored and re-used. The joy of saving condemned wood & living trees is far more than saving huge sums of money. This cannot in any way be construed as an act of cost controlling or saving because in most cases it ends up in phenomenal cost escalation. ONE OF THE FIRST PET FRIENDLY PLACES IN YERCAUD!
The resort is very good. It is a 100+ years old property and hence have the old charm. You can spend some good quality time relaxing. The approach road is very narrow. Be very careful why driving in and out. The stairs are very stiff and not at all recommended for old people. Need some amount of maintenance. Some of the rooms are old and smelly with plaster tripping here and there. Also itis painful to open/close windows and doors. All the other things are very good. The ambience is very good. They have restored a lot of old things , which is very good. They have maintained the main building which is 100+ years old and also old coffee grinding machines. The buffet dinner+ breakfast menu is not good at all. Need to work on that Overall a good place for weekend stay.

Sterling Yercaud sits atop the mighty Shevaroy Hills, overlooking lush coffee gardens, the Mettur Dam and Salem City. It is located at a vantage point in the Servarayan Hills, surrounded by the serene and aromatic ambience of coffee and spice plantations. Almost 4,700 feet above sea level, the nearby Yercaud Lake adds a scenic charm and tranquility to this jewel in the Sterling crown. Key tourist spots are a walking distance from the resort.
We had a excellent stay as well as food and service was very good. Not only food and service they also took care of everything possible. And the staff and chef was very humble and good. We had an excellent view and the resort's landscape was good. Overall it was a memorable stay and looking forward to visit again.

Nestled in a quiet corner of nature’s bounty is the quaint little town of Yercaud. For over two centuries since this place was unearthed by the Europeans, this town is famous for its idyllic lake and gorgeous scenery. The Brook Resorts and Spa lets you experience the tranquil calmness of the hills and the streams and offers a getaway from the maddening crowds.
excellent we enjoyed and rooms are very specious. Special thanks to candle light dinner. Kids enjoyed the pool. But pool need to be maintained. I found lot of insects inside the pool. And there should be one life guard always should be there in the pool. When my kids was there in the pool there is no life guards.

The resort is also the home to world-class restaurants that offer multi-cuisine varieties. Equipped with facilities like a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games and a large range of activities to choose from such as safari, adventure games and more, the resort is a perfect destination for holidays.
I would recommend this resort for a group or a family that wants to laze around and enjoy the great hospitality the team brings in.. The employees in the restaurant and the reception will make you feel special every time you call them.. A place that you should stay to experience adventure, peace and hospitality. Jeep off roarding is one of a kind that personally I loved.

Shambala Resort & Spa by Sparsa is a beautiful boutique resort nestled amidst grown trees, in the silence of a private plantation in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu. The property consists of 18 gorgeous rooms with sprawling verandas, fantastic al fresco dining, a yoga centre, a conference hall, a fabulous spa, outdoor sports and several walking paths around the plantation. Our restaurant The Fig Tree Place serves excellent food, a lot of which is sourced from our organic garden.
We had come in a group of 13 people. Ravi, the manager welcomed us warmly and briefed us about the resort and its facilities. There are 18 rooms and they are spacious with all amenities, the only drawback is it’s slippery and there is not guard rail to access the rooms. Food was excellent, the chef happily prepared all the dishes ordered to our spice level and taste. The prices are on a higher side. Breakfast spread was decent and tasty. Overall a good experience.
