Reviewed By tahkhengsoonWe spent one night here. Walked the area surrounding the hotel- there was a large shopping mall nearby. The room was fairly large. Beds were comfortable. Though it was beside the road, near a large junction, our sleep was not disturbed during the night. During the day, we can hear some people talking or walking on the road outside the hotel. Staffs were helpful when approaching them with questions. We enjoyed the breakfast, too.

Our room overlooked wonderful array of fruit trees.Our room was large with super large bed,bathroom with walkin shower (essential for my mobility impaired wife). Added attraction is a restaurant with super choice of menu. Food of course washed down with hotel's own wine !! Restaurant also had a beautiful garden .We were lucky with weather and dined outside. Would thoroughly recommend.

Shocking customer service
Reviewed By Georgiana_TircaI needed to travel to Worms for a job interview and I booked a single room in this hotel. Due to a railway strike I cannot make the trip as I do not drive, so my ability to reach the destination is currently null. I have found out about the strike today and I have contacted the hotel immediately to tell them that I will not be able to make it. On booking.com they have a free cancellation policy of 2 days. I have infringed that policy by less than 24 hours (I have contacted the property the moment I found out that I could not make the trip). Apparently, even if I cannot possibly make the trip they do not want to forfeit or reduce their cancellation fee, which is shocking as I have offered to produce the documents to show that my trip is in fact no longer taking place. If a hotel in such a small city treats their customers in such a way, please avoid booking rooms with them. Making money on people's cancelled plans due to no faults of theirs is something that I am still struggling to cope with.

A busy restaurant is part of it. I was on a bike and the owner, was immediately able to tell how I had travelled :-). I was provided helpful information on the town and was helped in moving to my room. Simple. Basic. Great Location. Fantastic Service. Excellent Value.

Reviewed By exploringwithjuneWhen booking the photos looked alright, but upon arrival we weren't so sure. The location is a bit dubious and from the road the place didn't look like much. We got a bit apprehensive, but it turned out to be great! You'll get the key using a code on the key box. It looks kind of like a motel, with rooms on two levels, each door opening onto the patio/garden. There is no central hall with adjacent corridors. The rooms are very spacious and look like they're recently renovated. They are stylishly decorated and have a sort of ocean vibe. Also, they were very clean and fully equipped with everything you might want in a hotel room. Large bed, desk, tv, seating area, spacious wardrobe etc. The bathroom was equally tidy, sizable and clean. There is a large restaurant, which seems to be one of the most popular in town. We initially wanted to eat in the city centre, but because of the distance we just stayed at the Altes Ruderhaus. Again, we were presently surprised. The outside terrace was really cozy and the food was well prepared. Also, we loved the view over the river and the dock. Breakfast is served inside the restaurant, but you can also sit outside if you please. The buffet offers lots of options like bread rolls, yogurts, eggs and spreads. Service was great too. Upon leaving you can return your key at the front desk. Personally I feel like the only downside is the distance to the city center. Online it says that it is only a 20 minute walk, but the area just doesn't look that inviting. It appears as if the center is really far away and it is not immediately clear which route to take.

Reviewed By AlbertSalichsThe hotel is very well-located, in the Markplatz. I arrived vey late in the hotel and the staff explained me before in an e-mail how I can catch keys and go to the room. The room has all you need to stay one night. The breakfast was included and it was very good. On the other hand, The rate price/quality is expensive. The room is little and old.

Reviewed By JL0365Simple but clean and spacious place adjacent to a nice park around the Herrnsheimer Schloss (castle). Food is ok. Breakfast simple. Staff is nice. Herrnsheim is a suburb of Worms, so the hotel is NOT central. You certainly need a car to move around, unless you enjoy waiting half an hour for a bus.

Awesome Staff and a Handy Location for a Small Historic City
Reviewed By Kamillo681The setting of this hotel was quite interesting with old US Army barracks around. The Breakfast served was sort of limited, but everything tasted GREAT!. My room was very large by European standards. It was very clean and had all the amenities. The bar at the lobby was also top notch with a great bartender. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Reviewed By ShowMeSomethingAs noted by its name, this small hotel is centrally located. Our room was simple, clean and comfortable. We reserved a parking space in the garage located behind the hotel--and it just happened that the owner was in the alley when we arrived. He helped us get parked and then checked in. Not sure how we would have managed this otherwise, as the signage isn't very good. We appreciated that the hotel has an elevator. The breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious.
