A disappointing stay all the way around. First of all, we called on a Monday and upgraded our room. Upon check-in on Friday they had no record of upgrade. My wife was even able to identify who we spoke with to upgrade the room. They offered a different room however the shower head was broken and wasn’t functioning correctly. We chose to stay in the room they had for us. The hotel smelled “funky” and was filled with “Out of Order” signs. We travelled for my daughters soccer tourney with the intention of the girls enjoying themselves in the pool. Upon check in they notified us the pool was closed for the weekend. Extremely disappointing for all 15 girls and parents who anticipated using the pool. Breakfast was the only plus for this hotel. Overall a very disappointing trip, with poor service and many broken amenities.

We stayed for one night in this newer hotel. The rooms were small, but served our purpose. The bed was comfortable and low to the floor. We had asked for the highest floor, were given the 3rd out of 4. The upstairs neighbor was heavy on their feet, and woke us early. We were also given the highway side which was very loud. The heat/air controls are on the wall, but you couldn't leave the fan on to drown out the noise. The controls are on the wall by the door to leave everything on with your key card, but the light over the closet would stay on. Very strange set-up. No luggage rack, just one spot to put your bag so we had to use the desk as another spot to put our 2nd bag. No fan in the bathroom so we had to leave the door open. The room did have the usual fridge (no freezer), microwave and coffee maker. The water in the shower was warm enough, but didn't get hot. Breakfast was typical hotel fare. Wi-fi didn't work well for us. Probably will not stay here again.

This hotel was perfectly located for us - off of a major road but yet far enough from the highway so you didn't see the traffic. It is set in a somewhat residential area yet restaurants and shopping were minutes away. The room was spacious enough for us to bring our bicycles inside as the purpose of our trip was to enjoy the many bike trails in Grand Rapids.

Never again will I stay at any Travelodge by Wyndham. A motel should never be this bad no matter the area or how uncaring the staff is. The staff and management should be ashamed of themselves on how they run that place and that goes times 2 for the owner.

We used to enjoy staying at Hamptons but have become increasingly disappointed. After this stay, we’ve decided to avoid this brand when possible. This hotel is tired and public areas weren’t clean. Coffee in the lobby was not maintained and breakfast was lacking anything that was nutritious. The room rate was high for the value received.

Quick review of my stay - Hotel workers appear to be of all the same family and can barely speak english- all of them. Was greeted at Check in rudely by a gentleman, very confrontational, pushy, and lacking common sense. Was told rudely that the pool was closing and 1 minute extra was not allowed, however next night people are swimming much past closing. 1 night food was not allowed in the pool area for my family and I, the next night pizza and beer were allowed for other families (being eaten in the hot tub none the less) . House keeping is pushy and enter rooms whether there is a do not disturb sign on or not. They just walk right in without a knock. Things were taken from our room while we were out by housekeeping, and put at the front desk!? Toilets didnt flush well, patch work all up and down the bathroom, shower did not drain, pubic hair left over from past visitors. Continental breakfast consists of a juice machine, coffee so old its cold, instant oatmeal packets, and cold breakfast sandwiches. This truly is a bottom of the barrel hotel, and the staff just makes it worse. Tarnishes the Quality Inn name, and corporate needs to act fast to right this sinking ship. Sorry if you stay here

Front staff masked but very accommodating during check in. Had a quiet room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was not quite as extensive as "pre-covid" but certainly enough choices that no one would go hungry. Front desk clerk helped us to find a nearby mexican restaurant that had excellent food.
