An unexpectedly great hotel
Reviewed By Saigon_RandyI was reluctant to stay here due to the negative reviews the place had received, but when my first choice hotel was full, I decided to give this place a try as it was in the area that I needed to be in. And boy and I glad that I ended up here! The room was comfortable (it even had heating, which enabled me to sleep comfortably during the very cold winter nights during my stay); the staff was extremely kind and helpful (other reviewers complained about them, but sometimes people treat you the way you treat them); the breakfast was surprisingly good; and it was really good value for money. Granted, the hotel is not perfect. It's a little bit worn from age, but so am I. Ha. Anyway, I'm glad I stayed there - and I would certainly stay there again on my next visit to Vinh.

Reviewed By 101leightonrThis is a clean place to sleep, beds have futon mattresses, so a bit hard. There is no food served, but it is quiet with walking access to the railway station. Staff is minimal, but helpful, limited English. I stayed here two nights on my way from Vietnam to Laos. For my purpose it was ideal. There is very good street food a few meters from the hotel entrance.

I could say the customer service in the hotel is excellent, nothing to complain. The reason: - I have some problems with VAT invoice because I am not sure VAT tariff for some commodities ( either 8% or 10% ) that makes discrepancy between Sales invoice and VAT invoice and more than my expectation, Finance staff comes to work earlier and fix for me the document right away. -Facilities in the room are very good and nice, thanks for that. -Breakfast buffet is diversity with local foods. Reviewed By arindamdebThis is really a good hotel, actually it was beyond my expectation because the rate was very low so I had not expected much in from this hotel, but this really a superb hotel at Vinh city. Room are well maintained, bathrooms are big in size, view from hotel was nice. Breakfast has lot of choices but it is local Vietnamese food only, it was a problem from outsider, other wise nice hotel to stay.

Reviewed By Lê THoang Ngan 2 Hotel, - Located in a small alley a bit far from the city center. - Friendly and enthusiastic staff. - The blanket stored in the closet is quite foul so it affects the guest experience, my room also has a dead cockroach in the toilet and right the drain, the hair is still quite a lot but not cleaned. Lights in the room quite dim so a bit uncomfortable. - Accepted price, one night will be fine with this hotel.

Reviewed By Berry tIt depends on what you looking for. If you want a hotel for just one night, no atmosphere, basic bathroom and low price, this is your place. But if you look for something better, there are other options. Hotels in Vinh are extremely cheap so even if you book a 4- or 5-star hotel, you pay a very low price. During my stay the price here was € 17 and the 5-star would cost €24 per room/night. Here you have a bathroom which is flooded when you take a shower (shower is in the middle of the bathroom. Breakfast has Asian options and at reception English is limited. Make your choice :-)

Reviewed By smilyglWe arrived by train, hotel is walking distance from station. Our room was great with fabulous views of Vinh. Breakfast was plentiful with choice. We did experience communication problem as there was no staff available who could speak even a little bit of English. Our request for tea bags and milk met with confusion. Our toilet got blocked and we did not have hot water in the shower. It was hard to communicate this as well. We needed to ask our tourist guide to convey our requests to the staff, who once they understood were very quick to resolve the issues. There is no air conditioning in the hotels dinning area or foyer, making it very uncomfortable.
