Crown Promenade Melbourne is a top choice for the savvy travelers who seeks functionality, location and genuine service with the amenities you expect, and the extras you deserve.
We stayed here for a night in a studio room. The room was really spacious, with fantastic views of the city. Really comfy bed, blackout curtains, and nicely furnished. We would have no hesitation in staying here again. Couldn't fault it really.

Perfect amenities, place was clean and staff were friendly and helpful as well. Only gripe would be with location; the nearest tram stop is some distance away, but imagine it would be a very scenic and nice walk in the summer.

Stayed here for one night as it was affordable. Great location, close to a lot of great restaurants. Highly recommend to bring your own pillows as the hotels are terrible. Bathroom is a little poking, one ply toilet paper and shower could do with a deep clean. We opted to park at the hotel which was $30 on a Monday night.

I have stayed at the Langham before, and loved the hotel. This time will probably be my last time. I understand all the difficulties in re-opening after the long, long Covid lockdowns. What I do not understand is why this hotel still charges full luxury rates whilst offering an inferior product. Luckily I was alone, in a king bed room. The bed nearest the entry was so uncomfortable as to be impossible to sleep through the night. I changed to the other side, and this was at least tolerable. I was told they are replacing all the beds, from the top down, but had not yet reached the 18th floor. Surely the purpose of a hotel is to provide a bed for a traveller to sleep in. The bathroom was another matter. There is clearly visible mould on all the floor joins around the shower screen, and also in the top overflow drain hole of the sink. The floor of the shower, just where one stands, is so damaged that the top of the marble is gone, leaving what feels and looks like bare, rough concrete to stand on. On the other hand, the staff were wonderful. Peter the Concierge was so helpful and knowledgeable. The dining staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous. Stuart in the Private Kitchen ((room service) went above and beyond. The quality of the room service meals was fabulous. I ordered quite a few dinners in the room due to the appalling weather outside.

Very clean, located and well equipped hotel. Very fast checkin and checkouts. Well equipped gym. I will return there without any hesitation. To be improved - - breakfast ok, but a bit expensive at $35. Not really worth it, not sure why they’re is no à la carte section. - I had forgotten my shaving cream. A pity that they didn’t have any shaving kit available. - diner menu is ok, but quite limited. Also, the photo of pizzas are very misleading. The photos show thin / home made pizzas, the ones delivered are very thick, not great and clearly delivered by a 3rd party. But again, despite these 3 items, I would recommend it and give it a 4.5 rating.

We arrived at Quest Docklands on Sunday at 1pm to check in and the room was not ready which was okay because we knew they would’ve been busy for the event next door at Marvel Stadium. Once we got back at about 3:30 they had to check if our room was ready and they said it was. When we walked into the room I almost tripped over wet towels in the entryway and the floor was soaking wet, not to mention the horrendous mouldy/ musty smell that the room had. We called reception straight away and they said they would get back to us as we wanted a different room. Half an hour later someone came to collect the towels and said they would yet again ball get back to us as they were booked out. They told us they only could transfer us to a studio when we had a one bedroom executive apartment. We countered and said we wanted that room free of charge for the inconvenience. They said they would get back to us and half an hour later they suddenly found us another one bedroom apartment but it didn’t have the view we had for the original room. When we went in it was okay and the lady left and I looked at the balcony and it was covered in cigarettes. I went back to reception and they apologised and said there was not much more they could do and that we would pay for the room but get complimentary parking. After this massive hassle I was so over I agreed to it as it was almost 5pm in the afternoon. When we went to bed there was blood stains in the sheets and I was not happy. When we left in the morning they asked us how our stay was and all I could say is that it was interesting. I sincerely hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone else because I’ve never in my life had to move rooms in a hotel ever.
