The bed was great and I love that you can get a pillow that you feel comfortable with, other than regular crap hotel room pillows Other than no power outlets by the bed and poor pressure in the showers, which made it a bit hard to wash hair properly, there are no negatives.

Reviewed By JBPurgerFrbMunkebjerg Hotel is situated overlooking Vejle Fjord and the view from our room was to die for. Everything was perfect. Check-in. Coffee and cake. Walking trail. Breakfast. One thing we still don't understand is why almost every hotel we've stayed in have problems descaling showers. It is extremely easy and would make a great impact for the guests. But all in all a great stay :-)

Only one socket next to each bed which means to choose between using the bed lamp or charging your phone. Danish prices are the highest in Europe but even so for 250€/night some extras could be provided instead of just 2 tea bags and 3 fixed soap dispensers in the bathroom.

Reviewed By cheyennes498This is one of the nicest campings I've ever been to! This camping was the first and last stop on my tour through Denmark/Sweden and I will most definitely come back again. This camping has the most ideal location in the beautiful town of Jelling. The owners are some of the most amazing and friendly people you'll ever meet and gave me some great tips on some sightseeing locations. Are you travelling and looking for some cool things to see? Dont hesitate asking them, they are so nice and have great tips! The camping itself is amazing as well. It really is a family camping with big bathrooms (easy access and easy when handeling kids), which are always clean. The kitchen is equipped with 4 stoves (induction) and 2 ovens which you can use without costs. Outside of the bathrooms/kitchen there is a big playground with adjecent mini golf course. For the fire starters among us, there is a nice fire place which is amazing for campfires and roasting marshmallows. There is a very nice swimming pool as well, which is free to use and has 3 different diving boards and a slide. There even is a small finnish sauna!Fresh bread is baked every morning and the restaurant is also quite nice! The camping is located in Jelling, an amazing village with a rich history. The town of Jelling is about 800 metres from the camping and has a supermarket, museum (free access) and a beautiful little church with 2 huge rune stones. It certainly is worth visiting. An amazing thank you to Peter for the stay on the amazing camping and the kindness with which I was welcomed. I had an amazing time.

Reviewed By 258brianf…and the breakfast would be something to remember best. Confusing hallways and access to the rooms. Coffee facilities and reasonably comfortable bed. Room is clean. However the tv have just app menu, and to the best of my knowledge, no flow TV. Location is excellent for exploring Vejle downtown. Expect parking fee.

We stayed two nights in the hotel staying on the 11th floor the views across the fjord and of the city were stunning. A cold buffet breakfast had everything needed to kick-start the day. Would stay there again.

Reviewed By 179kristianfWhen you book from small danish hotels, you expect something small and cozy, also as the name here suggested so. Not so much :(. What we found, was a model in container style. In Denmark we don't expect AC, but with 30c outside in the eventing, some ventilation at least is necessary. With only one small window to open over the door, it was a horribly hot night. Half cocked eggs for breakfast (same yesterday another guest told me when we complained). Warm milk, dirty tables, tasteless scrambled eggs etc. Don't plan to stay long here.

Christmas stay at Siesta Vejle
Reviewed By Liz JWent to Vejle for a family Christmas and needed somewhere to stay close to the in- laws. Siesta Vejle is perfect. Close to the main shopping area and central to most of the amenities in the town. We stayed in a 2 bed apart type accommodation which was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Good kitchen and bathroom. Comfy beds. . Good coffee machine in kitchen and they even provided coffee pods!!! Will definitely return. Owners also very nice and accommodating. Danish efficiency at its best!
