I was visiting Valloire with a group 9 of us skiing. The hotel was excellent. Very friendly family run hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good shower. Good bar area where you can relax and have a drink. Also a great location in the heart of Valloire.

The Hotel du Crêt Rond in the heart of the Verneys hamlet in Valloire offers 17 comfortable rooms, cozy cocoons for your stay as a couple, with family or friends, in Savoie. The restaurant offers traditional "home made" cooked that invites you to discover the Savoyard soil. In summer, the hiking trails and the Route des Grandes Alpes are at your feet. In the winter, the 6-seater Verneys chairlift is nearby, allowing you to reach the Galibier Thabor ski area.
Had a brillant week skiing at the end of January. This hotel was brilliant. Friendly, great food and amazing value. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the Verneys ski lift but not too bad, You could wait for the free ski bus but usually quicker to walk. At the end of the day we would ski into Valloire as it was an excellent run (and the run to Verneys was quite icy) and then get the free skibus which went every 15 minutes. The hotel was outstanding. Not fancy and pretentious but good solid French quality. The bedroom was a good size (Far better than we have had before in this price bracket). Looked like they had been recently refurbished . Comfortable bed, excellent shower what more do you need, :) Only issue was that the room was quite cold the first day. (possibly because we were tired from the journey and the room had been aired) however when we mentioned it we were given a portable heater and all was fine. We were on half board which is a no-brainer. Breakfast was excellent with all the usual that you would expect in a French hotel. (If you want bacon and egg and black pudding you are in the wrong country). Dinner was also excelllent, Starter, Main, sometimes cheese, and pudding. all good standard and well presented. No choice but there was nothing we didn't like. One night was fondue. Good choice of reasonably priced wine. The hotel has been in the family for generations and they clearly have great pride in it. The current owner is an absolute delight, but you do need to make the effort as she doesn't speak English (fair enough and the same in much of France). We will certainly be going back as soon as we get the opportunity.

A terrific hotel which is very conveniently located next to the bubble car. However what sets this bijou alpine establishment apart from the rest is the very warm welcome extended by owners Manoel and Florence. The kitchen is also a delight offering an extremely good value 5 course menu at under 30€. Each plate was a perfect balance of ingredients. Coupled with Manoel’s charmingly erudite knowledge of his locally sourced wines it is hard to see where you could go wrong by choosing this hidden gem.

A nice traditional hotel right in the center of the station, nice welcome, good equipments, and a well above average breakfast. My room was somewhat old fashioned but clean and with comfortable bedding. Congratulations to the staff who takes a lot off precautions (more than most places) with Covid. A very good option given the reasonable price

We stayed over the New Years and were treated with a firework show from our balcony. The rooms were small but clean. The pool was enjoyable. The hotel offers a shuttle and ski storage. Our only complaint was the driveway was very steep and hard to get out of in the wintertime.

An authentic resort in unspoiled surroundings. A doorstep skiing residence. A high standard residence built in the traditional regional style.
We stayed with four people in an apartment that would be suitable for up to 5 people. I wonder where the 5th person would have to sleep as to me it seemed like a place for two as two of us slept on a couch. Yet I found that this place has the perfect location, clean and offers all you'd need.

A great location, right in the village, easy walking to all amenities. The auberge is basic but comfortable with large rooms. The staff were great. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Free parking too.

At 1430 m altitude, at the foot of Galibier Col, the resort-village of Valloire, one of the first French ski resorts to develop around the thirties, accommodate you in a friendly environment.
We just had another really enjoyable stay; the apartments as ever provide everything we require and the ski in/out element is always a bonus. Our children loved the swimming pool and the bread delivery service is another huge plus!
