It’s midnight and we cannot sleep because there’s a loud sound coming from the bathrooms, which sound like a loud vibrating tuba playing, just a single low note. And air conditioner stopped working! We tried calling for another room but we’re told they are all booked.

Newly opened Champaign - Urbana All-Suites hotel close to restaurants and shopping. 5 Blocks to University of Illinois Campus. Half mile to Presence Covenant and Carle Hospitals. Lincoln Ave exit at I-74. 24 Hour indoor pool and hot tub. Upgraded suites available. Free Breakfast buffet.
Nice clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The free breakfast was great - waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, yogurt, cereals, tea, coffee, juices. Really really nice pillows! There is a safe for valuables in the room. Only two niggling drawbacks (that don't affect the rating) - room cleaning on request only during a multi-day stay, and the parking gets really crowded late at night.

My son and I visited UIUC this week for a college tour and stayed one night at this hotel on the 2nd floor. After a night, I got multiple bug bites on my body and reported to the front deck staff. The tub in the bathroom is sinking and the carpet looks dirty all over the hall and in the room. I would not stay here again.

Looking for a place to stay that won't break the bank? Our pet-friendly hotel in Urbana, IL offers a solid deal on a simple stay and amenities to keep you going while you're on the road.
When you first walk in the smell of old cigarette smoke hits you. Going to check in , there is an old, dirty shower curtain liner being used as the Covid barrier but the gentleman who checked us in was not wearing a mask. The room had white stains on the carpet. At first it looked like bleach stains but you could make them less noticeable if you scratched them with your fingernail. The decorative curtain was falling off at the top and the sheer curtains looked as if they had been crushed in a box and then hung. Very wrinkled. I will say that the bathroom was clean, even in the corners. There was a screaming match at 10pm on our second night there. Lasted until the police showed up around 12:30 am. We will never stay here again.

This was one of the worst best westerns I have ever stayed in, go somewhere else!! The lady at the front desk was very rude. She definitely hated her job and has very poor people skills. As I was done checking in, some man came in griping how she let someone else have their pooltime, yes, you had to reserve a time for swimming. She basically told the guy to f off, and would be glad to reserve another time, They were arguing pretty loudly when I left to go find my room.

This was the UIUC graduation day week so hotel in the area was so expensive. We finally booked Motel 6 and it exceeded my expectation. The room was relatively clean. The floor was engineered hardwood. The AC was cool even outside was 90. My shoutout to the friendly manager who made me fresh coffee.

We’ve been to many IHG Hotels over the last 2+ years, and this is the best by far we’ve stayed at. I believe the experience lays with the staff enjoying where they work, whom they work with, and whom they work for. (We who stay there!) The staff was friendly (a shout-out to Ms. Dorothy who hosted the hot breakfast) to the maintenance guy who was proud of how the hotel looked. The rooms were clean & inviting after our day of driving. It’s not easy to keep things running well in the Hospitality world right now, but I really appreciate the way this hotel welcomed us. Thank you!

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The staff was really friendly and the person at check-in explained everything very well. The beds were very combortable and the matresses felt like good quality. Although this hotel does not offer breakfast, it offers free coffee and a muffin in the morning. The rooms were very big and overall the price-quality-ratio is great. However, some points that could be improved are: - the floors (although the rooms are cleaned daily, the carpeting really bothered us) - no central lightening in the rooms, there were two bedside table lamps, but they were not sufficient for the entire room - we could not turn off the light on our balcony - although it is prohibited to smoke in this hotel, we could smell in the hallway that people were smoking in their rooms. Overall, you get a decent room for the price you pay, and if you are on a budget, I would defenitely recommend coming to this hotel, but some improvements could be made to enhance the quality of the rooms.
