Here the magnificent sea views are surpassed only by the mystery of the Arrábida Mountains. With 14 floors of residential suites and luxury rooms and a façade that communicates with the other side of the river using an innovative lighting system. The hotel includes a Spa with over 70 different treatments, a unique kids club offering both indoor and outdoor activities, 2 roof-top swimming pools, restaurants and a lounge bar that are true design spaces, a Show Centre, Casino and a Conference Centre.
First of all the hotel is very big! Massive amount of people on the sundeck and in the breakfast area. You see the struggle to maintain the hotel everywhere due to its size. But still price quality is good! Also the view around from the hotelnis beautiful. Casino is fun also! Service is also good in general.

In the Troia peninsula, with a privileged location less than one hour from Lisbon and within a surprising natural environment, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sado River, the two Aqualuz Troia By The Editory units offer unique conditions for family leisure vacations, meetings and events. Aqualuz Troia Mar & Rio have a breathtaking views over the sea, the Arrábida Mountain and the Sado River.
Service is non-existent and slow. Location is wonderful and therefore it had lots of potential but it is not fully used. Poor lady of the bars… multi-bar-tasking. Rooms are space but some materials are very cheap (like in the toilets). Price vs quality is average… but it could be nice; it could!

Less than an hour from Lisbon, followed by a short ferry crossing across the River Sado, you will find Troia Residence By the Editory. Inserted in a private and paradisiacal environment, it is the ideal place to escape the routine, escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and breathe nature, play sports or simply enjoy leisure.
We rented a one room apartment with view over the Troia Marina. The apartment is very well equipped with great natural light and view over the marina. the furniture was well preserved and the cleaning was great. The apartment include one parking place in the garage. Great value for your money.

We had 3 nights in a T2 suite apartment, with a large living area with kitchen, two bedrooms and a large bathroom. The space was great and all areas have a small balcony. Beds were comfortable. There seemed to be a lack of furniture in the living area - no coffee table or side tables so we brought these in from the bedroom! The supply of equipment in the kitchenette was a bit odd too - no small coffee cups, HUGE pots and pans, no frying pan, only a kettle for making coffee so you'd have to bring instant coffee if you want one in the room... it just seemed strange. A very good breakfast was included. We didn't try the swimming pools - the outdoor one looked pretty green and the area wasn't very inviting. A pity. Otherwise the facilities are attractive and the staff mainly quite helpful. The "amenities" in the bathroom consisted of a shampoo dispenser and a liquid soap dispenser (not very covid-aware!) and one individually wrapped soap for the basin. I wouldn't rush back to Troia for any reason (other than golf) but I guess this place is as good as any, although the surroundings are rather soulless and the nearby restaurants in the Marina leave a lot to be desired!

Pestana Tróia Eco Resort & Residences, located on the heavenly Tróia Peninsula, has more than 180 units of tourist accommodation. Privately-owned but managed by Pestana Group, the villas are in a perfect natural setting and feature a unique decor and are in a prime location so that guests are given a unique experience. Covering an area of more than 100 hectares, the resort is completely fenced off and located in a quiet area with exclusive access to the beach. Within this oasis, which is only one and a half hours from Lisbon, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis and paddle ball courts and multi-sport facilities, with access to all the other shared facilities, including the saunas, Turkish bath and gyms. There is also a golf course which offers special deals to Pestana Tróia Eco Resort guests. The surroundings of our villas focus on protecting the environment and the natural species of the region, and our gardens are filled with native plants, white sand and have wooden decks. The villas seek to ensure perfect harmony between buildings and the environment, inviting all guests to use sustainable vehicles, walk on footbridges and enjoy a more environmentally-friendly experience.
We stayed in exclusive villa 30.39 during a long weekend and had a wonderful time. In an incredible location in Tróia peninsula, the resort delivers its promise of being a calm place in a protected natural environment. The villa was lovely, spacious and with a great view of the surrounding woods. The terrace and pool were amazing. The villa is also equipped with everything one might need, including some basic toiletries. However, there were no beach towels in the villa; I assume they could be requested at the club lounge. In our view, the worst point is the lack of true hotel catering - the restaurant close to the reception is helpful but, for instance, it does not provide a breakfast buffet before 9am. I had also asked for breakfast/brunch delivery in the villa but was told this is not currently possible (the alternative is take away but it also needs to be requested 24h before). Despite this inconvenience, we loved the ambiance and will, for sure, return in the future.

Good location with short walking distance to the beach. Even weekends in August not too busy. The area lacks however Restaurants and expect first 10 minutes an explanation about house rules... The room was comfortable even so some things need improvement. Sliding door to the main area of the house (guests should use the door to the terrace) allows light and lot of noise to enter. Bathroom even so spacious is badly designed with basically “no place to seat” at the toilet if you are 1,75 or more and no separation of the shower from the rest - flooding is guaranteed. “Kitchen” area is useless with no utilities provided. Big refrigerator. Nespresso machine but not guaranteed that capsules will be refilled daily. Decent breakfast but only two “seating hours” and honestly speaking only one real table for 2. The other places the tables arent for eating. Friendly and attentive personal - after the first 10 min of rules and whats not possible pretty welcoming. In short: high price for what’s offered even so location is very good for the area

The experience was very pleasant. We had our own parking place in a private underground parking lot, a small garden were to relax when the sun was too hot and a shared pool to enjoy a little swimming. Everything very clean and in line with the COVID-19 pandemic rules. Very thoughtful staff that was always available to solve our queries. The nights were very windy so you better take some warmer clothes if you plan on taking a walk at night. There was also some live music near by.
