Amazing Mountain Luxury Resort
Reviewed By adamcanbyJust departed Plataran Bromo after 3 nights with my family. There is no other place like this. You feel as if you are surrounded by nature with towering mountains all around, gorgeous gardens and clean fresh air. The property is sprawling across the hills. Rooms are perfectly appointed like an Alpine lodge. Individual rooms have balconies with stunning views, and share a living lounge gor every 4 rooms. The resort cares about the environment and makes a point to be an eco resort while taking care of your every need. Everything feels effortless, but you know everyone is working hard to make you feel at home. The food is amazing. Best Indonesian food coupled with yummy pizzas and burgers and sandwiches. The warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream is made in house and is a must! They also have single origin Indonesian coffees at the ready. The bar is great and cocktails delicious. Te breakfast is never ending. The complimentary afternoon tea is a plentiful buffet. You won’t go hungry. The hotel arranged the Bromo tour for us and we chose the Caldera Wonders pkg. it’s fantastic. My kids wanted to stay forever. It is totally otherworldly. Staff are sincere and very well trained. Always ready to help you with a smile. Nothing was too much to ask. Congratulations to acting GM Gede Ariawan who runs the place like a fine tuned machine. Plataran clearly takes good care of its staff and that makes the stay all the better. You will never forget this place as it’s one of a kind. Cannot wait to be back!!

The water is not working
Reviewed By Nabhila Are staying for 1 night at this homestay, air panas tidak menyala, air untuk mandi juga habis sehingga kami harus membeli air. Pulang dari bromo kami tidak mandi sampai ke bdg. Bayangkan pulang dari bromo berdebu... pakaian kotor lalu tidak ada air. Tidak saya rekomendasi pada saat hari lbur karna harga menjadi naik 2x lipat.

Comfy, clean and great views
Reviewed By 376SamS376I stayed the weekend with a group of friends as we took on the Bromo Marathon. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable but the whole thing was a little dated. The food could have been better, but we didn’t starve. Whilst friendly, the weekend staff wanted to avoid us. With us having to seek out attention to place orders. It seemed different on the Monday morning when there was a different staff on board. The grounds are well kept and the views are fantastic. It would have been nice to have had a good place to sit outside on comfy chairs so we could enjoy the environment better.

Reviewed By MusirinRecommended accommodation where the owner involves directly in its management and provides insights about Bromo, from transportation, equipment and personal accessories needed. The place was very cold at night and we left the place at 2:30pm, much better than traveling from Malang or other cities nearby Bromo.
