I would give this place a 9 if possible, great desk staff when we checked in and kept their smile for us the three days we stayed here. Rooms are very good. If I had a complaint, it would be the guest above us, but as for the motel, it was super good. We will stay here every time we can.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and personable. Delicious breakfast and a gentleman who checked on every table at breakfast and made us feel like old friends who had come to visit. The suite was very clean and had so many conveniences and the mattress and pillows were great. This hotel became pet friendly in April of ‘22, just last month. We brought our 90 pound German Shepherd, named Gus. Gus is 12, in very good health, well-trained and handles new situations in stride. I say this because not all pets do well in a hotel setting (from my own miserable experiences) and I don’t want to recommend that hotels are for every dog. We received an adorable card to hang on the doorknob that said, “Beware of adorable. Furry friends inside.” This made me feel comfortable knowing that the staff wouldn’t open the door to clean, etc. and let Gus loose or frighten him. The best, however, was a list of pet friendly restaurants, parks, pet stores, pet services and the number for the local 24 hour animal emergency center. We paid a $50.00 fee to have him with us which is comparable to boarding fees. I found out that not every Hampton Inn has this policy so always check ahead. I will post a review from Gus shortly- he’s still gathering his thoughts.

My friend and I planned an overnight getaway to visit a nearby tea room and we stayed at Maple Creek. This is a real treasure! It is a beautiful setting, the house is beautiful, our rooms were perfect and the breakfast was delicious. We are already planning another trip and will definitely stay here again.

This property is the cleanest hotel I think I've ever been in. Upon entering the room you could see and smell how clean it was. Parking is excellent and the hotel is very comfortable and secure. The only negative about this property is the breakfast options. They have not yet opened up their kitchen and dining facilities for breakfast. Other than this one thing, this hotel is a good place to stay when visiting the Tomball, TX area.

I love this hotel as it is nice and new and the people at the desk were very kind and helpful. The room was nice, spacious and set up very nicely. However, I was disappointed that on a 95 degree day, I could not enjoy the pool as it was full of green algae! Every morning a guy goes out to "clean" it but green algae was all over. Then I went to wash a load of clothes in the laundry room and found the front load washers to be FULL of black mildew! Every single washer! Additionally, the breakfast selections and quality was only good one of the 5 mornings I was there. Parking is easy and the location is great, but they really need a good deep cleaning at this hotel.

This is a no frill budge hotel that’s exceptional and not like any other budget hotel I’ve stayed at. Germanfest was in town and hotel prices were high for last minute accommodations. There are 2 floors and no elevator, something to keep in mind if you have a wheelchair you need to request lower level. The beds were super comfy lovely soft clean linens that did not have an odor of bleach.. The entire hotel is immaculately CLEAN. The shower, sink toilets all new looking, It’s a no frill breakfast with clean tables and chairs coffee only , no teabags. A friendly gentleman to check us in. And friendly housekeeper we saw upon leaving. It’s in a quiet area. We did not hear any noisy guests, and the parking lot was full.,

This location is highly convenient for visiting - access to the highway but far enough away to not have road noise, lots of places to eat (both local and chain). The room is clean and sleep was good. The breakfast (for COVID-19 times) was very good. Be advised that water is not provided at breakfast... You will either need to purchase bottled water or fill up your bottle in the restroom nearby. (We did the second.) The room was clean and had good amenities (fridge, microwave, good power access, lights reachable from the bed). The small nightlight was broken in our room. We didn't report, just moved furniture so we'd not trip in the dark. The internet service was spotty but good enough - we could read emails and keep up with work but couldn't update apps on our phones. The hotel, though, was run down with little care given to presentation. Too many tables in the meal area, little room for navigation, and NOT accessible-friendly. The notice for the elevator was held to the wall with a paperclip and glue. Wallpaper was peeling and the lights in the drive/entry were flashing light a nightclub. (I actually thought it was on purpose when we checked in, as there was a party being held in the parking lot). The pool was COLD and the jacuzzi was not heated. The hotel posts signage that masks are to be worn in all public areas but the desk staff never wore them. The housekeeping staff were always friendly and helpful (kudos!) but the front desk staff always seemed dissatisfied. When we checked in, there were two people -- one never greeted us, the other spoke only a few words to finish the contractual obligation. When we checked out, the front desk person was handling the reporting of a situation over the phone. She was, quite understandably, not able to speak with us as we left. All in all, I would stay here again. It's good to know, though, what one should expect.

Synopsis: DON"T STAY HERE, RUDE, No elevator, needs updating, paper thin bedding, the "continental breakfast" is literally sweet pre packaged cakes like honey buns and cinnamon swirls and cereal with a gallon of milk. Just not sanitary with COVID 19 everywhere. Also they brag on their website about room for buses or trailers to park which is not true. There is a reason that there are zero reviews on their own website. We stayed here on our trip to the Texas Renaissance Faire and it was terrible. Don't get me wrong we usually stay at cheaper places as we are not going to be there long in the grand scheme of things, however, this was NOT a good experience even considering the cheaper price. The owner was rude to both myself and the lady in front of us in line. She has a thick accent and is behind a thick divider which made it extra difficult to understand her and she kept getting frustrated and rude when I told her I didn't understand her. We noticed a sign that said no elevator which is nothing that I saw on their website when booking. We had a lot of cosplay supplies as well as items we purchased on the trip that we did not want to leave in our vehicle so we wanted to bring it all in and did not realize there would be no elevator. When I told her we had too much to haul up and down the stairs and asked if there was a 1st floor room available she said no. She was very rude! After discussing with my husband what all we would need to bring in we decided it was just too much. She in the mean time kept asking us check in questions. Finally I stepped aside and started to look on my phone for another hotel when she finally said she had a 1st floor room we could have. Later we realized that the room she gave us is next to their personal room. You can tell by the bars on the windows on the outside of the building. Anyway, they had 1 rickety cart thing without any hooks to get your luggage, which for anyone on the 2nd floor only got your items the 20 feet to the steps. the mini fridge was full of ice in the freezer part which got ice chunks all over the floor. was able to fit 1 water bottle in the "freezer" and after 24 hours it still wasn't frozen. The "comforter/bedding" was paper thin, essentially a piece of fabric with a thin backing on it. I had to send my husband to the car to get my car blanket for me. The continental breakfast was pre packaged sweet cakes and a bulk container of cereals. There was also a gallon of milk for the cereal which seemed not sanitary. I took a shower using 2 of the 2 towels that are in the room (I have thick, long hair) So while I was drying off my husband went to our truck. He asked for another towel at the front desk and she said that she would not give us another towel unless we brought the dirty one first. He said my wife is using the two in there currently so I can't bring it. She reluctantly gave him one. They never restocked our room the entire time we were there. By the time we left the trash was running over because there was only 1 small trashcan in the bathroom. When we were getting all of our stuff into our car it took a couple of trips, again we had purchased several items on the way down there that couldn't have been left in the car. So on the last trip back inside so that I could double check that we had gotten everything the door wouldn't unlock. I went and told my husband to try his card. Well apparently they had locked us out of our room 45 minutes before checkout. We had the housekeeper that was close by let us in to make sure we didn't miss anything but I thought it was very rude to lock us out when they had no clue what all we had in the room. If you have made it this far, thank you, I have never left a bad review like this but I felt that hopefully this would save someone else from having a bad experience.
