Volcanic Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea provide the cinema-worthy backdrop for Taormina, Sicily's legendary resort town. Twisting medieval streets and a second-century Greek theater add to its romantic air, which inspired the writings of D.H. Lawrence and Truman Capote. Take a cable car to the beach, or walk uphill behind the Church of St. Joseph for panoramic views.

A location that boasts an exceptional panorama where the gaze is filled with infinite natural beauty. At Mazzarò Sea Palace you will be transported to a world made of colours, scents, and history. An exclusive retreat where sun, crystal-clear sea, and exclusive experiences await you.
We just returned from three nights at the Mazzaro Sea Palace Hotel. We had added a few days in Sicily to a longer trip to Croatia and we are now talking about a return to Taormina, as we enjoyed it so much. As you can see from the other rave reviews, this is a special hotel and while the facilities and location are outstanding, the staff was the best I have ever encountered in over 50 years for travel. Courteous, knowledgeable, attentive and efficient are just the beginning of the adjectives I could use for the folks who work here. Anyway, we hope to return and I can't recommend it enough.

Hotel Villa Belvedere is a delightful and romantic boutique hotel situated at 5 minutes walking from the center of Taormina. It is an ideal hotel for couples who are looking for a charm and relaxing oasis surrounded by a lovely garden always in bloom. With an amazing view of "Baia di Naxos" and the mount Etna Villa Belvedere its a perfect location for your Sicilian holidays.
Just back from a long weekend stay here, lovely hotel, very friendly staff - nothing too much trouble. We stayed in a sea view room with a terrace-had beautiful views. There are a couple of niggles though - no toaster in breakfast room (who doesn't just love a slice of toast for breakfast!?) and also woken up each morning at 6.30am by the furniture being moved above our room - not sure if it was the cleaners or guests, but very annoying!

A few steps from the historical centre, surrounded by an oasis of Mediterranean scents and colours, the Hotel Villa Fiorita is the ideal place for a peaceful and elegant stay in Taormina. Refined and elegant, the hotel reflects the charm of an exclusive private residence. Each room is different from the others in furniture and most have a terrace or a balcony. There's also a swimming Pool, surrounded by a splendid Mediterranean Garden with its unique orange blossom scent: it offers wide quiet spaces and solarium terraces in a setting of incomparable beauty. In the garden there is the entrance to the Roman tomb, the only intact in Taormina...
This place was our one splurge on this trip and definitely worth it. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and shown the entire hotel and our room. The room was a junior suite and very spacious and comfortable. All of the little touches such as bottled water, cushy robes and slippers, jacuzzi, were all there. We had a lovely sitting area outdoors on our own private terrace which overlooked the sea. Just gorgeous! The breakfasts were extensive and excellent quality. The pool area is lovely and we spent some time there one afternoon.

Located in the heart of Taormina, just 50 metres from Porta Catania - one of the two historic entrances that lead onto Corso Umberto, the main pedestrian street of the historic centre. The hotel is also 50 metres from Parking Porta Catania. The Hotel Casa Adele is the ideal location to spend a relaxing and carefree holiday, immersed in the magic and glamour of the capital of Sicilian tourism. This prestigious building whose majesty evokes an atmosphere of other times was built by the Cascio family at the beginning of 1900s. The Hotel Casa Adele which has recently returned under the management of its owner who has overseen its restoration, without leaving anything to chance, is an exclusive, magical, enchanting and highly evocative place. An appealing mix that combines the familiarity of a domestic environment but is also equipped with all the comforts of a typical first-class accommodation.

We were scrambling to find a hotel because we booked so late. So glad we came across hotel mediterranee near city center of Taormina. The location is great, walking distance to main square but just off the square so that it’s also quieter. Everything is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. They even went out of their to way to help us locate a new favorite coffee, cafe Guglielmo. You have the best of both worlds - the pool which is spotless and the beach which is so beautiful and comfortable. Well worth a 6€ round trip ride including chair, umbrella, towels, and chair covers. A nice touch are the beautiful terraces with view. Would love to return again.

We are a charm hotel designed with an intimate approach integrating our love for antiques and traditional Sicilian interiors. The villa is an antique residence located in the historic center of Taormina just a staircase above the Piazza Duomo. Breakfast is served on our sun-filled terrace with outstanding views of Mt. Etna, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Old Abbey (Badia Vecchia).
We absolutely loved Taormina and it was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. A large reason to our enjoyment of Taormina was the personal care and service we encountered at Billa Taormina. The staff which included Elena, Antonino, Nino, Michael, Budi and many others are not found everywhere in the service industry. We felt like family, especially after a very trying day of travel to get to Taormina. Elena personally calmed me down, gave me a welcome Prosecco and made me feel so welcome. Michael spent time getting to know my husband and I and Antonino had plenty of patience helping me open our safe. We enjoyed our cocktails on the outside terrace and we heard the town children rehearsing in the ancient building next door. The boutique hotel is centrally located in this “Disney version of a quaint town in Sicily.” The hotel is splendidly decorated in antique perfection. I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Billa Taormina and it’s wonderful staff. Arrivederci y Mille Grazia!!

La Pensione Svizzera is a small charming hotel ideally located in Via Pirandello, the most central panoramic road of Taormina, where you'll find yourself. Only 4 minutes walk from the city centre and Corso Umberto, Taormina's main drag next to the cable-car that brings down to Mazzaro, Taormina's most popular beach, as well as to the busterminal leading to the white-sandy beaches in the surroundings.
Beautiful and modest pension in a luxury town. Location is perfect. Comfortable room with a nice hard bed, tiny balcony and tinier shower. Nice breakfast on a pretty patio. People were wonderfully nice!

The Panoramic Hotel in Taormina in Sicily certainly lives up to its promising name. The breakfast out on the balcony with the breathtaking view alone is worth the trip to Sicily. The rooftop terrace with the swimming pool at the romantic beach hotel in Taormina offers guests an even broader view of the truly dreamlike surroundings!
We stayed for 7 nights in a junior suite with our 2 daughters aged 7 and 9. The room was fantastic with 2 bathrooms and a huge balcony and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were so nice from the reception staff to the breakfast waiters and waitresses. We need to give a special thank you to Gabriel at the pool bar who made our holiday memorable with his friendly personality and excellent service, we didn’t want to leave! Taormina really is a lovely place for a holiday with a huge choice of restaurants serving fantastic food. This is a great hotel in a wonderful setting.

We are a group of female friends and enjoyed a four night stay at this lovely hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect for access to the town and its bars, restaurants, shops and other local attractions. The room facilities were great, the beds and bedding very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice available to suit most tastes. The pool area although fairly small was pleasant and clean and we had the use of free towels. The rooftop bar opened around 7pm. Giovanni made us feel most welcome. He was extremely attentive and kind over our four days and even went out of his way to set aside a small area for the group on our last evening. Nibbles and canapés were also served each evening. They were very tasty and well presented. Compliments to the chef. Overall a very nice, comfortable, clean hotel with extremely helpful and attentive staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
