We loved it! For the price that we paid, this room is awesome. The location is so perfect. The room is clean, bed is good and the toilet is spacious and clean. We are giving this hotel 2 thumbs up! 3 years here in Japan we have few hotels that we can truthfully recommend and this hotel is one of them. If you love to go shopping and strolling this is the perfect location, no need to worry on where to park you car coz they have it. To sum it all up we recommend this Hotel.

Usually I don’t write a report with negative informations. But this time I feel urged to do so. To start with the positive. Like everywhere in Japan the rooms are extremely clean. I took a bigger twin room and the room offered plenty of space. The interior designer was certainly not the best in his class. The hotel staff is very friendly, bilingual and polite. The restaurants tries very hard and offers reasonable food, considering you are in Takamatsu. Coming to the bed. Horrible. Hard like a wooden plank. The cushions are a joke. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep at all. Automatic air condition doesn’t help you. Or it is hot, or you are freezing. First and last time I stayed here

Great stay in Takamatsu. The hotel is in the perfect location, right by the arcade and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and attractions. I drove here, there was parking available behind the hotel, you get a voucher for parking I believe, better to ask the front desk about that. I didn't do breakfast as it was a bit pricy. Check in and check out was simple, no issues. The rooms were great! The rooms were on the smaller side, but typical for Japanese hotels. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the needed amenities. I really enjoyed my stay here and would book it again.

立地条件が素晴らしく、どこにゆくにも便利です。高松に泊まるならこのホテルがお勧めです。私たちは車での旅でしたが、ホテルの地下に駐車場がありホテルロビーとつながっていて雨の時にでも安心でした。 The location is excellent and it is convenient to go anywhere. This hotel is recommended if you are staying in Takamatsu. We were traveling by car, but there was a parking lot in the basement of the hotel, which was connected to the hotel lobby, so we were relieved even when it was raining.

Stayed there for a night and we enjoyed the area. The hotel itself is very simple but great for a night. If you driving like me there a few parking lots around and not expensive which is very convenient.

We had stayed at other Super Hotels before so this was not the first but the location of this one was hard to find since it was located in a shopping arcade. The parking was off-site and you have to pay first and leave your car keys. We arrived before the 3 pm check in time so we had to pay extra for the parking. We got up late and missed the breakfast that was included though. It’s a good place to stay for one night since the room and bathroom are small and it is within walking distance to Ritsurin Park. We didn’t like that our car was moved when we went to get it to leave.

"Guest House Wakabaya" is a Japanese style guest house opened in 2014 summer. It's located just 5 minutes walk from Hanazono station. You can choose a mixed dormitory or three private rooms. The bed in the dormitory has an outlet, small light, security box and curtain each. The private room is traditional with tatami, shoji and old fittings. The bathroom, kitchen and living room is common use.
The owner (Takeshi) and his family are amazing people and really made me feel welcome. He goes out of his way to make himself available if you ever need any help, or if you just want to talk. My room was nice and comfortable. The guesthouse is in a convenient location with easy access to transit.

Shikoku and Takamatsu are great. The food, nature, Takamatsu-park en the boot trips to Naoshima: it’s wonderful. Hotel Areaone in Takamatsu is however not the best place to stay. With my family I chose this hotel because of its location close to the port, the location is indeed good. The rest was simply disappointing. 1. Breakfast: we booked breakfast in advance, but received some coupons instead to consume breakfast at a bakery in the Takamatsu railway station, 5 min away by foot. 2. Noisy room: please stay away from room 507, a constant loud, unbearable noice can be heard. The rooms itself are ok, perhaps a bit overpriced. 3. No English speaking staff. 4. Last but not least, a horrible parking service. We paid the hotel 1.000 yen per day (2 days) a 24hr parking space nearby, but had to pay another 1.700 yen when we picked up the car at 11:00 in the morning. I still have no idea where this amount came from. A rude a unfriendly owner kept our car hostage, demanding in loud tone his money. Do not know what kind of conflict the hotel has with the parking company, but this was very awkward and impolite. The conflict was solved, but All in all, a very disappointing hotel experience.

Takamatsu Kokusai Hotel was established in 1964, when the Tokyo Olympic Games were held. Since then we have served a great number of distinguished guests, including our royal families. We would like to welcome you with the heartfelt hospitality of tradition and proven achievement.
Hotel room was great for what I needed, solo traveller wanting something small with a hot bath. Room had 2 single beds and everything you need within the room. The staff member on the front desk spoke brilliant English even though I was prepared to check-in in Japanese. Only downside is the location as a tourist (30 minute walk from town centre). With the art festival happening, most hotels in town were booked out or extremely expensive, so I chose this one. Made things a bit tough to get around but I was happy to use local buses or walk into town.
