Reviewed By EsslingJampotWe stayed here in Spring 2022 with our Hiking Club. The hotel is very well sitauted right on the lake, the service is excellent, the food very good. The sauna was hughly praised by my partner. I hope to go there again.

Reviewed By hynekkovar87The "hotel" and staff is great, although there are some things that were a little bit different to other hotels. First one is the breakfast - you choose what you like (the range is just ok) and take it with you in glass packages to your room and eat there. What I missed was a dishwasher in the room, as you have to clear all the things on a daily basis.We have had a good weather, but otherwise I would be a little bit stuck in the winter with the heating system - quite confusing. We have has a ground room with a direct access to the lake, which was good. The pool is also ok and was empty most of the time. There are a lot of things to do with children around and the location is good, so overall a good stay!

A very pleasant accommodation and a good place to stay near to the lake Ossiach

Nice and clean camping with very helpful hosts
Reviewed By PinkendeWe stayed at the camping (in our tent) for two weeks in August 2021. We've had a wonderful time. It's a small sized camping, very nice and very well accommodated. The camping is owned/hosted by a Dutch speaking couple. Both very helpful and committed (tips and hints for trips) and they manage the camping place with dedication.. So highly recommended, and we will be back in the future for sure! Martin & Tina, august 2021

Reviewed By Paul WStayed here for 4 nights last minute. The lady on reception was very good! Showing us to our rooms and even providing euro plugs for those who forgot. We stayed an extra night unexpectedly and the hotel couldn't of been more accommodating Will return next year

Pretty good, but could be improved
Reviewed By Tara JMy husband and I stayed here in June and overall the experience wasn't too bad. The pension itself is lovely, with a small well-kept garden, patio, children’s play area with a ping pong table, and quite good value with a nice breakfast. Having said that, we had booked a room with a balcony that advertised lake views, only to find we couldn't actually see the lake from our room. The room itself was adequate with a large comfortable bed, however it was quite hot as they only provided blankets, and the rooms are without fans and air conditioning. The host cannot speak English, and the sightseeing pamphlets provided are in German, so I would recommend to research places of interest and dining options before arriving. All in all the location is okay, the rooms are adequate, but good value for money.

Reviewed By 768tessavThe menu is not really big. So not a lot of choice. Can’t pay by card, and there is no sign of paying cash. Had to leave my ID to get cash. When I came back with cash they were closed at 4pm!! Ridiculous!

Quiet, little Oasis

We found a small little Town in Kaernten, Austria, called Steindorf am Ossiacher See. After taken the Train from Munich to a Town called Villach {Trainfaire for 2, one Way 50.00Euros}, we were picked up by the Owners of a place called 'Villa Dr Heiner". It turned out to be a wonderful, Quite, little Oasis, beside a large Lake, where we just relaxed before our trip thru Europe. The Owners are really helpful and charming, the Villa is lovingly Restored to its former Glory everything is neat & clean. Each Apartment has a little Kitchen,so you can Cook for yourself or visit a variety of nearby Restaurants. We really enjoyed ourself & would return After 3 Days, our Batteries were recharged & we made our way to Vienna.
