The staff was wonderful. We were trapped by a thunderstorm and the night clerk helped us cancel the reservations we couldn't reach and make new ones where we were. She even helped us find a discount. The morning clerk found a shirt I'd left behind (a favorite) and mailed it to me right away. Everyone was pleasant and efficient.

We stayed in this room for 6 nights while visiting family in the area. The room was spacious and the breakfast was very good. Housekeeping service had to be requested. Our room was ok but I had to peel a fruit snack out of the living room carpet when we first arrived. There was blue toothpaste all over the bathroom, not sure how housekeeping missed it. There was toothpaste on the bathroom mirror, bathrrom floor, bathroom ceiling, the walls, everywhere. I called twice about the condition of the bathroom but had to visit the front desk on day 3 to ask them to come clean it. It was finally taken care of. The vents and air filter in the room were absolutely filthy and everyone in our family coughed terribly when we were in the room. There was a spot that could be mold on the bedroom wall. This hotel looks like it isn't very old but it seems it takes a beating, I wonder if this is because of the lack of housekeeping. The beds were just ok, the sheets weren't very soft. The spacious rooms don't make up for the condition of the room.

The room was not especially clean and room cleaning was only Monday Wednesday Friday. We checked in late Wednesday so we only had one day of cleaning. They did not leave enough fresh towels or adequately clean the bathroom. There was a broken towel rack in the bathroom.

We’d stayed here in the past and enjoyed it, but we hadn’t been here in several years. This recent visit was very disappointing. Much had changed. While the room was a comfortable size, and the location is convenient to the Springfield Mall, restaurants, and I -95, the hotel is lacking in a number of ways. Some of the most noticeable include the lack of a restaurant and lounge. At some point, Houlihan’s closed. Only breakfast is now served. The indoor pool is now closed as well, though it’s still photographed on the hotel’s web site. Additionally, there is only a small refrigerator and no microwave as one would expect at a Hilton Hotel. Little things were missing as well, including a do not disturb sign for the door and a TV channel guide. My husband inquired about the channel guide at the front desk. He was told that there is a button on the remote which would show a guide, but they didn’t bother to tell him which button to use. He had to play with the remote to discover that the # 2 button shows the channel guide. While the heat and A/C can be turned off, the blower cannot. (The choices are high and low only.). The blower is very noisy. Finally, while the rest of the room was very clean, the grout around the bathroom tub and shower tile could use a good scrubbing. It was a disappointing stay. We’ve stayed at nicer Hampton Inns. We probably won’t be back.

Enjoyed our stay for a long weekend visit with family in D.C. Hotel has free parking which is a plus while only being a short drive into DC. Room was clean. Pros: It was quiet with minimal noise noted with several sports teams staying there while we were. Beds are comfortable & the one bedroom queen suite worked well for us. Pet friendly worked well for us. Full kitchen with dish washer was a plus. Breakfast offered hot options & remained well stocked throughout the allotted time. Cons: Wallpaper in bathroom was worn & could use repair. Drain in bathtub did not work so showering was the only option. Pros outweighed cons for us. This is a second stay & will continue to be our choice for future visits.

I've never been disappointed with a TownPlace Suites by Marriott. This one, like the others, had clean up to date decorated rooms. I love having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Welcoming staff. Easy free parking. Working ice machines (unlike the Marriott in Dallas!!!). Overall, easy, stress-free, clean and welcoming hotel.

We stayed here for 10 days before a move. The Pros: Clean rooms. Staff were great (for the most part) and the location is convenient. Breakfast was good. The Cons: Constant stench of pot smoke. People were smoking weed in the parking garage and the dog walk area near constantly. We complained and one of the staff said "It's legal now so we can't do anything about it." Not accurate at all and didn't really help. Additionally, the room across from ours had questionable guests who were partying late into the night with 7-8 different people coming and going from the room at all hours. It truly felt like either a prostitution or human trafficking situation. At one point one of the guests from that room was loudly complaining about someone touching her while she was sleeping. She then asked me for a phone charger in the hall as I was exiting out room. I don't know what the hell was going on there. We told the front desk about it a few times. The behavior continued. And, did I mention the constant pot smoke? I couldn't tell if I as at a Residence Inn or a Phish concert half of the time. Also, the location is convenient but it's a really busy spot. I noted multiple homeless people in the parking garage during our stay. We also saw homeless people walking in and grabbing breakfast once. Very sad, but this shows how poorly controlled the location is. Also, if you get a room facing away from the main road you get a great view of the garbagy purple strip club one block over. Never again. Never again. Dear god never again.

I had an awesome stay. The staff was great and accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. All the extended stays that I’ve stayed at have been great. Can’t go wrong with staying at one of these hotels.

I just wanted to let the staff know i had a great stay. From the front desk to the inspector I saw in the elevator. Everyone was inviting and welcoming and made my experience that much better. :) The room was very clean and also the public areas. Even the balcony wow :) To end the night i stopped by the bar for a quick meal before a meeting in DC and the bar tender - Stefon was the best!!!. He even checked in some guests while working as a bar tender to help out the desk. I will definitely be staying again. 10/10 Best - J Marshall
